Crypto x Reader

    A/N: there's some curse words in here, just a warning if you don't like cursing. (I'm sorry)

(Y/N)'s POV

     You crouched behind cover, ignoring the stinging pain in your shoulder. A squad had attacked you from up in a building, catching you and your squad, which consisted of yourself, Bangalore, and Wraith, off guard.
   "Enemy over there!" You pinged the building the other squad was firing from as you peeked with a sniper. You didn't see them, so you moved back into cover. Where did they go?
   "I hear you," Bangalore said, "Wraith and I will flank around. Try not to die, (Y/N)."
   You rolled your eyes, "Hurry up."
     Suddenly, the faint buzzing of a familiar drone flew towards you. A string of curse words left your lips and you prayed it wouldn't see you. Of course, it immediately appeared in front of you.
   "Are you fucking kidding me?" You muttered, flipping the drone off and the person behind it before shooting it.
      Knowing the person behind the drone- Crypto- had your exact location, you sprinted away from your position. It was a good thing too, as the squad had started throwing every grenade they had at your hiding spot.
   "We're being attacked by another squad!" Wraith suddenly yelled into the comms as the sound of gunshots resonated in your ears. You internally groaned.
   "On my way."
       Quickly, you sprinted towards your squad. A few more steps and you'd be there. But of course, someone got in the way.
    The air around you shifted as an EMP activated. More curse words left your mouth as your shield was destroyed, leaving you extremely vulnerable. Someone seemed to appear behind you, pressing a gun to your back. You froze.
   "Caught you this time, (Y/N)." They whispered in your ear.
   "Fuck you," you muttered, instantly recognizing Crypto's voice.
   "Later." You could hear the smirk in his voice.
      He flipped you around so you could see him. The menacing look instantly falling from your face when you saw his eyes. The one weakness you had besides living him.
   "This," you motioned between yourself and Crypto, "Isn't over. There's always more games."
   He smirked, leaning close to you, "Of course."
      He leaned even closer, if possible, almost in a teasing manner. Just as your lips connected, he pulled the trigger.
   Smug idiot.
