Your POV - I stood off to the side, watch as the others downed shots and laughed with each other. It was Octavio's birthday and of course he and Elliot threw a huge birthday bash that everyone was invited to. Most of them were laughing and dancing, except for Dr. Caustic, Revenant, and Crypto. Though Crypto had a drink in his hand. I looked around for my partner, feeling uncomfortable without them. Someone placed an arm around my shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze, "How are you feeling, my love?" I sighed, "It's loud in here." Bloodhound chuckled softly, "Come on. Let me take you somewhere more quiet." They took my hand, gently leading me away from the crowded bar. I felt a little guilty leaving the party, but I knew Octavio wouldn't be upset. He surprisingly understood that I wasn't much of a partier. Bloodhound opened a door, revealing a balcony. I looked up at the sky, seeing it was night time. The stars twinkled down at us and I smiled slightly at them. "The Allfather has blessed me with you," Bloodhound appeared next to me, placing their arm around my waist. I blushed at the contact, "Fate brought us together," I smiled at them, "Thank you for getting me out of there." Bloodhound tilted their head slightly, "Anything for you, my love." We spent the rest of the night sitting outside, holding each other. I had closed my eyes, feeling safe and relaxed in Bloodhound's arms. The leaned their head onto mine and I tightened my hold on them, sighing contently. "ég elska þig," they whispered softly, but I still heard them. I smiled, "I love you too."
