Chapter F I F T E E N

Dracos POV

I sat on my bed early in the morning before breakfast.
Today was the day. The day I completed my task. Today was the day I killed Dumbledore.

It had been about a week since Gia left Hogwarts.
I found out she lied when I asked Fred if she was at his home, leaving me in pure worry these last few days.

I even sent out letters to my mother asking if she knew anything about her, she didn't.

When I heard a knock at the door I stood up and opened it.

"Morning Malfoy." Veronica steped into my room.

"What do you want?" I asker her.

"Breakfast is in 10 minutes, we should get going.." I sighed and agreed.

The two of us went down to the common room where my usual group was seated on the couches, all of them looking up once they saw us,

"Morning everyone!" The girl beside me smiled widely at them. They mumbled back without energy.

"Still not here Pansy? Mia?" I looked at the two and they shook their heads whilst looking down at their feet.

"Im sure she's fine Malfoy. Lets get going." Blaise patted my shoulder and we all walked up to the great hall.

As we walked through the corridor I could feel Veronicas hand trying to entwine with mine. I would try to discreetly move my hand away but she somehow found a way to keep trying.

Although I knew I had to keep the plan up, I didn't want to, but father would kill me if I didn't keep up with it.

After much hesitation, I gave in, giving her my hand to hold as we entered the great hall.

All eyes landed on us all, but mainly us two as they thought I was still 'dating' Gia.

Shit, I wish I was.

I sat with Veronica and Izeyah at my side, Mia next to her boyfriend while Pansy sat between Tom and Blaise across me.

The three were whispering about something to each other but as hard as I tried I couldn't manage to hear what it was they were talking about.

As soon as they saw me staring at them, they all shut up immediately, straightening their posture and serving their plates with food.

I looked at them confusingly but they ignored me and I served my own plate.

Everyone had grown apart from me within a week because of my new relationship with Veronica.
It was obvious that it bothered them and I was sure it was because they didn't like Veronica, I would absolutely understand them if that was the reason.

But what they didn't know is I had no choice. I had no decision in this.

Once Dumbledore dismissed us we all made our way to class.

Looking at him made me feel a pit in my stomach, guilty of something that hasn't even happened.

I quickly got to my first class, potions, and sat in my usual seat where Gia would normally sit, but was occupied by my girlfriend.

Throughout the entire day I felt stressed, scared even because I wasn't ready for what was coming.

Gias POV

Narcissa made me open the door when we heard a knock so I did.

"Jackson!" I gave him a tight hug that he returned.

"Hello Gia! It's nice to see you." I let go but my hands layed over his shoulders and his were still wrapped around my waist.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
