Chapter T W E N T Y - O N E

"I guess this is the end my dearest daughter..."

"Draco I called you down five minutes ago, why-" I rubbed my eyes and sat up as I heard someone open the room door.

"Morning Cissy!" I smiled up at her as I stretched my body. I stopped midway as I saw her staring at me confusingly. I narrowed my brows but then remembered, I was in Draco's room.

"I need to stop finding you like this dear!" She chuckled and I could feel my cheeks getting warm.

"Uhm- so... what did you want him for? Do you need help with something or-?"

"No no! I just want to make sure you're both ready by five for the party. Also thank you so much for making the desserts, I couldn't have made them any more perfect." She came up to me and bent over to hug me.

"No problem! And, I'll make sure we're ready by then." She smiled at me and walked out, closing the door behind her.

I looked down at the sleeping boy, his face was buried into his pillow as his body was tangled up with the sheets.

I slowly rubbed his back with my hands and whispered his name, waiting for him to wake up.

"What!?" He suddenly yelt in his deep raspy voice, taking me back by surprise even though I've heard it a ton of times.

"Damn, grumpy much?" He turned over on his back and looked at me.

"Sorry... I just don't want to go through today." He massaged his temples and squinted his eyes.

I knew exactly what he meant.

Today was the christmas gathering, meaning the rands were coming over.

I wasn't exactly fond of this but I was still excited to see my friends again since I hadn't seen them in months because we were all staying home and safe from those who were out for us.

"Just try to be on your best behavior, yeah?" I got up off the bed and looked down at him as I awaited an answer.

"I guess." He buried himself back under the covers. 

"Come on! We have to get ready." I pulled the covers off the bed before running out the room and into mine.

I quickly got into my shower and brushed my teeth, eager to see my friends already.

I saw my dress that Cissy had been hiding from me for it to be a surprise for today. It was a beautiful peachy color and silk material floor long dress. The sleeves fell off the shoulders and layed on the side of my arms.

It fit my figure very well, it being tight on the top half as it hugged my thin waist and let my breast line be visible.

The bottom half was very flowy and loose.

I caught myself smiling in the mirror as I mesmerized over myself. Since I knew I had to be ready soon, I put a serious face on and pushed myself to continue getting ready.

Doing my hair and makeup passed by very quickly as I enjoyed doing them. Also since I hummed some of my favorite songs while doing so.

It had been a very long time since I had done braids in my hair so I did the pretty braid crown in my hair and I really liked how it turned out.

For my makeup, I decided to keep it very minimal and just add shimmery eyeshadow and dark red lipstick.

I sprayed myself down in my most expensive and the best smelling perfume I own and put on some accessories as well amd my white heels.
