Zhilan thought she did a pretty good job at hiding how nervous Jaemin made her as she lied in her bed, staring at the ceiling.

Jaemin was definitely someone she considered attractive visually, and the sight of him focused on her wound was embedded into her brain the entire night. When he carried her to the apartment and helped her get changed, it honestly drove her insides wild, and Zhilan didn't understand why.

She made jokes and pretended to not be bothered but it all but deep down, it was all she could think about.

He's so annoying though, Zhilan thought as she heard the door open, signalling that Renjun had returned. You would never fall for someone like him.

"Hey, how you feeling?" Renjun asked as he stopped beside her bed.

Zhilan narrowed her eyes, pinching her nose. "You smell terrible, can you wash up first before we talk."

"See I knew I was worried for nothing." Renjun said,  shaking his head as he grabbed his towel. He stopped before exiting though, giving her a glance. "Hey, if you're tired, sleep first. No need to wait for me."

Zhilan scoffed, a smile on her face. "Like I would wait for you if I wasn't injured."

Renjun rolled his eyes before exiting their room, leaving the girl alone with her thoughts again.

Zhilan stared at the ceiling, opening and closing her eyes, hoping that sleep would take over eventually.

It didn't.

I wonder if Jaemin's asleep, Zhilan thought, pressing her ear against the wall between their rooms. She didn't hear his music playing though, so assumed he probably was.

Why are you even thinking about him?

Zhilan immediately moved away from the wall as soon as the thought entered her head.

"Stupid stupid stupid." Zhilan told her self, smacking herself on the forehead. She was so annoyed by herself that she barely heard Renjun return to their room.

"I know you are but what happened this time?" Renjun said as he hung his towel up before making his way to her bed.

"I got injured, that's what happened." Zhilan said, covering up the truth as she moved over so Renjun could sit beside her.

"Well what were you expecting when you stabbed the men first, at least that's what Haechan said and I really don't trust him sometimes." Renjun said seating himself on her bed.

"Okay but a knife wound is nothing you know that." Zhilan said. Renjun nodded his head.

"Mhmm, Jiayi tells me all the time about how reckless you are in Beijing." Renjun said with a chuckle. "You need to be careful, mei."

"Yah, I'm not your younger sister." Zhilan called out, smacking Renjun's arm as he laughed. "We're literally the same age."

"You sure don't act like it." Renjun said, ruffling her hair before getting up, stretching his arms above his head.

"Anyways, I'm exhausted so let me sleep. Bother me tomorrow." Renjun said, slipping into his bed.

Renjun must have really been exhausted as Zhilan heard his sleeping noises not long after.

This man definitely snores, Zhilan thought as she closed her eyes, ready to sleep as well.

...

Just do it, Jaemin thought as he stood outside the door to Zhilan's room, the bowl of soup in his hands. Just open the door, give her the soup, change her bandage and head to school.
