9:30 am.
Denise texted me just a half hour after I had woken up.
'Get ready! I just woke up and I will meet you in an hour or so.'
'Can't wait!' I replied. I threw my phone back onto Niall's bed and traveled downstairs to the kitchen. Bobby was already up, reading the local paper.
'Good morning, Sadie!' He folded the paper and set it down, next to his cup of coffee. 'Would you like something to eat before you have your 'girls day out' with Denise?'
'Sure. What have we got?'
'Same as always. I did buy some more tea if you'd prefer it over coffee.' I nodded and got to work on breakfast for two. working with what I had, I managed to make a pretty impressive breakfast wrap for each of us. I handed him his plate and quickly ate my own. Once I had finished, I raced back upstairs to get ready.
One pair of black skinny jeans, a white tank top, and a blue denim jacket later, Denise pulled into the small driveway. I rushed outside, shoes in hand, to her car.
'Eager to go?' She asked.
'What gave you that impression?' I joked. She laughed and put the car in reverse.
'So how's everything been since Niall left for tour?' Wow, she got right to it...
'Okay I guess. I'm just doing everything I normally do to distract myself until he gets back.'
'That's good. I don't know exactly how it must feel to have him gone, but I can imagine it isn't all rainbows.'
'Not at all, but I'm no expert either, being that this is the first time I've had a boyfriend go on a tour or vacation.' She nodded and continued driving. 'So where are we going?'
'I was thinking we could grab something to eat, then we'll go get our nails done?'
'Perfect. Good thing I brought my wallet.'
'You didn't have to.'
'It's fine. I need something to do with it. Aside from savings that is.'
'Alright, where do you want to eat?'
I shrugged. 'wherever you want.'
We pulled into a local diner not too far from the house. I get a coffee, two cream and one sugar and a pumpkin spice flavoring. I'm actually shocked I ordered it. Usually this stuff makes me sick, but Denise said it was too good not to risk being sick. Which, it turns out, actually is worth it. It didn't bug my stomach thankfully. Usually certain foods only hurt my stomach if I'm stressed.
We spent the rest of the day around town, window shopping and talking. Once we looked in all our favorite shops in the building, we turned to the nail salon. Neither of us wanted anything too flashy so we just went for simple French manicures.
The day went by fast and I found myself back in Niall's bed, music playing softly on my phone beside me. I daydreamed about the day Niall would come home. A day that was so close I could just grab it. I soon fell asleep, music still playing.
____________
NIALL'S POV
____________I tried calling Sadie after the show. She must have been sleeping by then considering the large list of missed calls I left. I changed out of my stage clothes and got into a pair of sweat pants. No shirt. I tried to distract myself with games and music on my phone. Harry and Liam stayed out on the couch in our hotel room. Zayn and Louis went out for a walk. I was tempted to join Harry and Liam as they were talking about the women waiting for them at home. I sat in the reclining chair beside the couch, looking through my Twitter feed. I saw the same things I always do. Fans, sports, some friends. It's always nice to see tweets and comments from fans. Especially the really nice ones. Sometimes they'll get a bit inappropriate as well. I just skip those tweets mostly.
