Chapter six

SADIE'S POV

The drive back to the hotel proved to be more awkward than before. Niall turned on the radio to try and break the silence. Unfortunately no one spoke or sang with the radio.

I looked through my phone and noticed it had a message from my father.

'How's London treating you?'

'Great' I replied.

'Anything interesting yet?'

'Well I met one direction'

'Oh really?'

'Yes. Luke and I are in the car with Niall Horan now'

'Well that's interesting sweetie. I have to get back to work. I love you.'

'Love you too dad'

I placed my phone back in my lap and turned towards the window. A light drizzle of rain had begun outside.

Do you ever just look at the water droplets on the window and focus on two of them just to see which one will win? well that's what I'm doing now.

This is just so freaking awkward!! do I break the silence? do I just let everyone suffer in the silence? fuck!

"Sooooo. what do we do now?"

"We go to the hotel." Niall sighed. whoa pissed off are we?

"What?" I asked. why is he so tense all of a sudden.

"Nothing. don't worry about it right now."

"Um. okay. sticky side down next time Horan." he didn't reply he just gave me a glare and tried to keep himself from laughing. I swear I could say pudding and this boy would laugh.

"So where were the other boys today?" Luke asked.

"Not my job" Niall swiftly replied.

"Niall seriously!"

"What?"

"Calm the fuck down! are you on your period? should I get you a midol?"

"Why are girls so pissy when they're on their periods anyway?" he questioned.

"Well you try bleeding for a week!" I laughed. the boys both laughed along.

"Oh and to answer your questions Sadie, no I'm a guy I can't have a period and I obviously don't need a midol." Niall smiled.

"Well I hope your a guy!" I laughed even harder.

"I'd prove it but uh that wouldn't be very kind to Luke here."

"Probably not." Luke joined the conversation. well now everyone's in a good mood.

LUKES POV

I've been regretting my option to join Sadie and Niall for coffee since they agreed. I see how pissed off he is and how worried she looks. something has to be going on. I can't stand it. Niall basically offered to show Sadie his man parts in front of me just now. I tried to act like I took it as a joke but honestly I didn't. I was pissed. still am to be specific.

I mean Sadie and I just got together and Niall swoops in trying to take her away from me.

im not going to let this get in the way of our relationship. I can tell she isnt aware that he has been making moves on her all day. well okay maybe not by much but still. it was a bit strange coming back to our room to find her and Niall standing in the kitchen.

like i said before i can't let his actions tear apart my new relationship. im just going to have to show her she's better off with me....

NIALL'S POV

we finally got back to the hotel and i was more than ready to get back to mine and the boys' room. when we all were out of the car i could feel the evil glare Luke was not so discretely giving me. I made my way to the elevator completely ignoring the shouts from Paul and Sadie to wait. I wasn't waiting. I don't know what finally set me off but something about that prick of a boyfriend Sadie has just made me crazy. I wanted to get as far away from him as I could. even if it meant being far from Sadie which hurt so much. I don't want to hurt her but she has her perfect little boyfriend and I know he will always be in the way of things. I feel like I need to give up on being more than a friend to Sadie. such a thought sickens me to the core.

Once the elevator doors closed my phone rang signaling I had a phone call. the I.D told me it was Sadie. I hit ignore and waited anxiously for the lift to bring me to my floor and into my room.

My phone rang once again. This time it was Harry.

"What Harry?"

"Call Paul or Sadie now." he demanded

"No."

"Ni please. whatever you're getting all pissy about you need to drop it."

"What the hell Harry I'm not calling either of them. I have nothing to say to them"

"Why? what the hell did they do to you?"

"They didn't. fucking Luke did."

"Explain please Niall."

"He's been a complete jerk to me all day! I did nothing wrong! the three of us went for coffee and I had a small conversation with Sadie!"

"I don't know what to tell you Niall. that's his girlfriend and he's just scared to loose her to you or anyone for that matter."

"Harry I can't loose her either! what do I do?"

"Let her go"
