Y/n's pov

I looked at the stars up in the sky. So beautiful. with a snap of my hand the stars turned brighter, The moon looked so lovely too. The crickets singing into the night, The wolves howling, the river flowing with joy and I'm just sitting on the ground relaxing with nature. I wasn't that type of brave goddess because I knew that humans on the earth were bad so I stayed cautious. As I was about to get up I heard a gun go off not so far. I went to see what was going on Until I realized I made a mistake.

I saw a person with a clown mask, red hair, and was wearing a blue outfit. Not only that I realized that there were dead bodies on the ground, Lifeless. I was shocked. I hid behind a tree just to make sure he didn't see me. I was too scared to get out of my hiding spot. Until I heard footsteps go away. I sighed in relief then got out of my hiding spot. He was gone. I realized he left a corpse alone so I quickly picked the body up and ran away with it.

Billy's Pov

I was driving in my pick-up truck looking at the sky. So bright and beautiful. I wish I didn't have to do this, but I have to do what I have to do. I saw 3 people chatting, perfect. I parked in an area of the forest so they wouldn't see me. Luckily I had my flashlight so I could see clearly, I ducked in a bush so I wouldn't be spotted. After A minute I jumped out of the bush and shot without any hesitation. The screams of my victims...is. just. I didn't have time to think about that. I took two of the dead people and ran to my truck. I accidentally left the last corpse behind, At the corner of my eye I could've sworn I saw someone behind a tree.

Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me again. I rushed to my pick-up truck to fill up my truck with the two corpses I killed back in the camping area.

By the time I came back for the corpse I left behind, It was gone. 'How the hell was it gone that quick? I could've sworn I've killed three of them.' Wait...What was that in the distance? As figured it was a person taking the corpse and running away with it. I ran after them and was planning to kill them too. But I took a closer look at what they looked like...'Oh my god. They were...Beautiful.' I thought to myself as I kept running after them.

Y/n's pov

I kept running from the incident until I grew tired. I laid the corpse on the ground and tried to bring them back to life. But before I could do that I felt arms wrapped around my waist and yanked me from the body.

"Oof!"

Before I could see who it was I blacked out from passing out. I could only hear someone saying something disturbing before I completely blacked out.

"Wake up."

"Wake up"

"Hmmm, maybe they're knocked out. I'll just wait until they wake up."

I slowly woke up from my slumber, I could hear footsteps near me. I slowly open my eyes to wake up on a coach. I jumped in fear and started to scan my surroundings. Where am I? I turned around until I saw a killer clown behind me. I fell on my back and crawled to the nearest corner there was and started to close my eyes.

Billy's Pov

Why were they so scared? Do they actually think I'm going to kill them? I kind of felt bad for them. I wanted to talk but nothing came out. I wanted to help them but maybe I should just try to think of an approach so they won't think I'm bad. I slowly kneel down and took my hand out. They looked at me frightened then looked at my hand.

"It's okay. I won't hurt you, I just want to get to know you." I said gently as possible. They were still frightened, shaking like a leaf. I sadden until I had an idea, I went to the kitchen to get out a cookie so It'll probably make them not fear me. I walked back to the living room to still see them shaking like a leaf. I kneeled again and showed them the cookie. They stopped shaking for a bit and looked at me than the cookie.

"Do you want it? I promise it's not poisoned." I said with a friendly smile behind my mask. They hesitated for a moment and reach out for the cookie. I gladly gave them the cookie, I watched them nibble on the cookie then looked at me.

"Y-Your not going to hurt me or worse?" They said with a shaking voice. My heart shattered. I feel so bad for them. Without thinking I picked them up, put them on the couch, and went to get a blanket for them. I wrapped the blanket around them and hug them.

"I forgot to introduce myself, I'm sorry. My name is Billy, I just go by that name." I said

"O-Oh hi Billy. My name is Y/n. I-I'm actually a God/Goddess but not the brave type."

I was surprised when I heard those words. I felt butterflies fly around my stomach when they stuttered. I must protect them. I have to, they're too pure for this world.

"That's actually interesting to hear that Y/n. I'm just glad that you're okay."

I could see them blushing. I didn't notice when I pulled them closer to me hoping that I didn't sink from the cuteness.

~Timeskip~

After an hour from our conversation, they fell asleep on me. They were so cute when they were sleeping. I carried them to the bed and tucked them in. I laid next to them, kissing them on the forehead, smiling that I found the one for me.

"Goodnight Y/n, I'll make sure that no one hurts you. And I'll protect you from any harm."

"Good night Billy, I love you too."

I blushed 100 times red. I pulled them even more closely than before. I promise that I will protect them with all of my heart.

"I love you too Y/n, I love you so much."

I drifted off to sleep with them. Knowing that I will always be here for them.
