It was the day that the doctor gives me a new patient today. I wonder who the new patient is. I got up from my bed and started to get ready for work. I put on my favorite uniform and brushed my teeth. I made breakfast to eat. And it tasted magnificent. I put my dishes on the sink and rush out of the door with my keys and car keys. I walked to my car and drove off. 

~1 minute later~ 

I walked to the boss's office because they called for me to tell me who will be my new patient. This is an asylum after all. I knocked on the door until a voice told me to come in.

"Come in." I walked inside of my boss's office to see that they were sitting behind their desk doing paperwork as usual. They looked at me with a smile and greeted me. 

"Hello, Y/n! Nice to see you here on time. So I have something to tell you about this new Patient. Are ready to find out who's your new patient?" They said as they hold up a file about the new patient. 

"Yes, I am."  

"Okay so this patient is a bit aggressive and he is not talkative. A lot of doctors and nurses tried to interact with the new patient but didn't go well. So this is why I chose you to take care of him because I know you're the one with a kind heart. Try to lighten him up and if something happens then use this button to call for help, Understood?" 

I nodded. They gave me the file and allowed me to open it. I was shocked when I saw the patient's info. 

"(Room 301)

Name: Billy 

Last name: Unknown

Age: early 20's (Probably)

Illness: Hallucinations, Schizophrenia. 

Description: Will hallucinate about disturbing creatures. Sees things that aren't real, will talk to himself every night. This patient has a sickness which is called Schizophrenia. This causes the patient to see things that aren't there at night. Which causes the brain to react in some sort of way."

Hmm. I feel bad for this patient. He sees things that aren't even there. Maybe I can try to lighten him up a bit. I looked at my boss with a sad expression. My boss looks at me with the same expression. We both stayed silent for at least 2 minutes until my boss broke the silence. 

"Maybe you can give him this. I couldn't bring myself to do so because I was scared to do it."

They gave me a golden music box. I looked at the music box, then looked at my boss. I nodded with a smile on my face until I walked out of the office. Before I walked out of the Office my boss stopped me. 

"Wait!"

They gave me a hug before telling me something I would remember. 

"Take care Y/n. Make your boss proud, would ya?" 

"I promise." 

We pulled away from each other, I turned around and started walking to my patient's room. I remembered his room since The file told me where he was located at. As I was walking to his room I heard the patient's voice in their rooms Until I stopped at the room the file told me to go. 

I hesitantly pressed my hand against the cold silver knob and told myself that everything will be okay. Once I took a minute I walked in and saw that he was sitting on a chair that was shiny enough to blind me. I took a deep breath and fully entered the room. I looked at him with a little bit of fear in my eyes. With just a blank he was starring at me, I jumped a little and was awkard out by this. before I could say anything though he beat me to it. 

"Hello, Doctor. I suppose you're my new doctor right? he said with a blunt voice. I nodded slowly in silence. I slowly took out the golden music box from my bag and slowly walked towards him. He seemed surprised at first but waited until I came closer enough. When I came close enough he snatched the music box away from me and pinned me to the bed with a serious facial expression. 

"Tell me, where did you get this music box from?" He asked with a serious voice to fit the facial expression. I looked at him with a blush on my face until I got the words out of my mouth. 

"I-I got it from someone that wanted you to have it." I stuttered a bit waiting for him to let me go. And with that he still had me pinned against the bed. 

"Oh okay. Well here's another question. Why's a beautiful woman like you working in this nuthouse full of insane people hmm?" 

"I-I. I just wanted to....-I mean I-I just felt like working here." I responded with still a blush on my face. Until I felt completely embarrassed. Other than that I felt kept staring at me, 'What is he thinking of me?'

After a few minutes, I felt him kiss me. I felt a million butterflies in my stomach. When we pulled away he stared at me again with love? He looked at the clock and stared at me again. 

"Sadly it's time for you to go," Billy said with a sad expression. I smiled at him and kissed him on the forehead. He smiled at me with appreciation. 

I walked towards the door. But before I walked out I felt arms wrapped around my waist. I turned around to see Billy crying. My face imminently sadden. I hugged him and patted his soft hair. 

"A-Are you going to come back?" He said desperately while holding onto me. With tears in his eyes. 

"I'll be back tomorrow don't worry. Once I come back tomorrow will be all about you I promise." 

"P-Promise?"

" I promise."

I kissed him on the forehead once again. He kept tugging on my coat. I looked at him confused until I realized that he wanted me to be with him until he falls asleep. I gladly did. It took a moment but finally, he fell asleep, I smiled and tucked him in bed, and put the music box next to him while playing. I kissed him on the forehead(ONCE) again and left after saying this.

"Goodnight Billy, Sweet dreams."

"Goodnight Y/n...I love you..."
