(Emma's POV)

I was driving through the night sky my mind was overwhelming with thoughts, reassuring me that all of this is not a dream or a hallucination. But I knew that my brain was telling the truth, I looked around towards different directions making sure that he wasn't there I sighed in relief. I then realize that I didn't look behind me. I started to sweat bullets on my forehead as I was too nervous to look behind me. I quickly but slowly looked behind me only to find out that he wasn't behind the car seats. I turned around sighing once again in relief as I continued driving back to the town I know and love in the night, hoping I won't be able to see him again after what had happened.

(3rd person's POV)

Emma continued driving towards the woods until she saw the town. It took her 6 hours only to drive back there without any problems, Luckily for her there was a gasoline can inside the trunk of the car. So Emma was good, all she have to do now is report this to the police and she's A-Okay!...Right?

Emma shook off the feeling of eerie and uneasy vibes behind her back until she saw a gas station near by. She stopped there and went to go get some snacks before going to the police station. She looked around for her surroundings safely before parking in front of the gas station. She was starting to feel a lot uneasy now, does she have to get food? Can't she just get it later? She's not really that hungry. But she realizes that she has to. In order to not have a growling stomach on the way to the police station. She got out of the car shutting the door behind her, she looked around once more before going inside the gas station.

(Time-skip)

(Emma's POV)

I walked into the gas station seeing an employee reading a magazine while sitting on a spiny chair. I walked around the isle to look around for something I may need before driving home after a long night after what happened between me and Tom. I let out a stressed out sigh and continue walking only to see a big bag of snacks, I walked over happily over to the snacks and grabbed them, Luckily I still have Gerry's credit card so I can buy a drink too while along the way. I walked over to the refrigerator to grab a drink and it was chilly so I quickly grabbed the drink I closed the door of the refrigerator of the gas station. I walked over to the desk where the employee was and he looked up at me with a bored look.

"You're only getting these?" he said while putting the newspaper down. I looked down at the newspaper for it only to say about what happened back in the house I was in. I shivered at the sight of the front paper of the newspaper and started thinking about what had happened in the house and what would've happened if I didn't expect anything. I kept thinking with all of these thoughts rushing into my head, thinking of what he would've done to me if I was in there weaponless, helpless. Mostly naïve. I kept thinking and thinking until I heard the employee snapping his fingers in front of me, I snapped out of thought. Staring at him like he was Tom, The employee noticed this and asked if I was okay. I nodded my head and quickly paid for the items I got out of the shelf and fridge.

"I need to go-" I said while speed walking out of the gas station. I didn't turn back nor made eye contact with the stranger before and after walking out of the station. I also paid for gas just in case I needed it whenever the car slows down and powers off. I quickly put the gas in the car, starting to get unwanted vibes from the cold night. Finally, The gas was full. So I quickly put it back where it was, got in the car and drove off.

(6 years ago In the present.)

(Emma's POV still)

I finally got the job of a business woman! Now I can finally pay my bills and make money as a secretary. I wonder how was Diana doing up there. I sure do miss her.... I wiped my tears after thinking about Diana and how she was murdered. I wish I could go back in time and save her from that disaster. She didn't deserve to die, not like that at least. She was my best friend, She was my back spine, she was my sister... She made sure that I was okay whenever I felt down. I miss so much I wish she was hear right now with me. Why did she have to die? Why her.
