I Love You to The Stars and Back

CHAPTER 1

"Good morning sunshine" I yawned.

I woke up early today because it was my first day of class as a Grade 12 student. After I finished showering, I wore high-waisted jeans and a white T-shirt. I was about to go down to eat when I saw Chloe's room. Chloe is my sister. She is two years younger than me.

When I was 2 years old, my mother was sexually assaulted. She had intended to have an abortion, but we were Catholic, and that was a serious sin, so she felt guilty. The rapist has been jailed and sentenced to lifetime imprisonment. Mommy raised the child, and there she poured her hatred on the child, Chloe Amelè.

I went to the door of Chloe's room and knocked. "Chloe, today is the first day of school, are you going? Wake up and let's go to school together."

She answered immediately. "Mind your own business, Zoe!" she yelled angrily. My first name is Zoe, and she is the only one who calls me that. Maybe she wants to be different from others.

I immediately frowned at how she treated me. I'm used to that kind of behavior but I felt sad because it seemed like every day she hated me even though I did nothing wrong. I just want to be close to her, and hope she considers me her sister.

After eating, I went to school. There were a lot of students scattered everywhere, so I had a hard time finding my friends. I was about to go to the cafeteria to buy a coffee when suddenly......

"Gotcha!" someone suddenly grabbed my right arm.

"Kristelle, you bastard! I thought you were a thief. By the way, I've been looking for you for a while. When have you been here?" I asked.

"My god, Zoe Amelia, with this beauty you call me a thief, huh?" she boasted. Kris is really beautiful, she's just really proud.

"You're so OA, Kristelle Ann" we laughed together.

"By the way, I was looking for you and came here earlier. I'm glad I found you. Sam and Zayne are on their way here. Riley said she would be late because she didn't wake up early" she explained. 

"Is that so? Let's just go to the lobby, we'll look at the bulletin board, maybe there are some announcements," I said and walked.

AT THE LOBBY

"Yay! We are Section A, Eli. I already knew it from the start. You know we're smarts" she laughs.

Kris and I are smart. I've always been at the top since grade school, and she's next to me. She said before that she was happy because we were always together, and no matter how many times she studied, she could not reach me.

As we looked at the bulletin board, the students ran to the cafe. Lots of shouting, so we became curious and went there.

"Omygash, blood," Kristelle said nervously.

When I saw the person who was bleeding, I immediately got shocked.

"I-Its Chloe, Kristelle" I muttered because I was scared. I was scared because it was my sister.
