CHAPTER 2

"What happened here? And who did this?" I pointed at Chloe's head.

"Why there is blood on her head? Who did this?" I shouted angrily

"And who are you to interfere with this, huh? It was also her fault because she blocked my way." the girl shouted at me who was at Chloe's age.

"Why there is blood? What have you done?" I shouted too

"I was about to go to my table, but she was blocking my way, so I threw my food at her. I was not yet satisfied, so I hit her on the head with a tray, so that bleeds." the girl and her friends laughed as if she was very proud of what she did.

"Shame on you!" I shouted angrily while pulling the girl's hair

"I'll help you, my dear" Kris said and helped me tweak the woman.

We suddenly stopped when Chloe suddenly stood up and ran away. I would have followed her, but Kristelle stopped me. The girl also left. Her name was Amanda, according to what I have heard. We're not done yet, Amanda. You have not seen my true anger, so don't ever hurt my sister again.

After what happened, Samantha texted Kristelle that she was at the gate with Zayne and Riley so we picked them up there.

"I assumed just Riley would be late. Why both of you as well?" Kris said, pointing at Zayne and Samantha as we walked towards our classroom. My friends and I are in the same section.

"Just so you know, Kristelle, we're on time. Zayne and I had coffee at the coffee shop, and headed to Riley after that." Sam explains to Kris.

"Why would you go somewhere else when there is coffee available in the cafeteria?" Kris complained.

"I don't like the taste of the coffee here" Sam laughed.

I no longer listened to what they said. They stopped talking when I suddenly bumped into a student.

"O-Oh sorry" I apologized.

The student just nodded and walked away.

"Hey Eli, I noticed you a while ago. You didn't join us and you were just losing focus. What are you thinking?" Riley suddenly asked.

"Ah yes! I remember now. Eli had fight earlier." Kristelle said bluntly.

And there, I recounted what happened from the beginning. They were also angry at Amanda because of what happened. We talked a lot until we entered the classroom because the class was starting.

"Good morning, class. I am Miss Clea Gonzaga, adviser of Grade 12 Section A. Now, all of you will also introduce yourselves." 

We were the first to volunteer and I was the first to introduce.

"Hi everyone, I'm Zoe Amelia Mortell, but you can call me Eli for short. "

"Hi I'm Kristelle Ann Delavin, just call me Kris."

"Riley Aisha Perto"

"Hi classmates. I'm Zaynellea Gazu and just call me Zayne."

"Hello Everyone! I am Samantha Cervantes. Nice meeting you all."

DISMISSAL

"There will be no class tomorrow because the teachers will have a meeting. So where will we go?" Riley said happily as we went to the parking lot.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Zayne asked while eating chips.

"Tss ... Nevermind," Riley said.

Riley is correct. There is no class tomorrow, but we still need to go to school because there will be attendance and something to do for clubs. Zayne and Sam headed home first. Since they are cousins and neighbors, they have always went home together. Riley followed. Kris had to leave early because they were having dinner at the famous restaurant. I was also picked up by our driver, so I arrived home earlier.

"Oh Mom, when did you get home?" I asked in astonishment. Their absence was nothing new to me. Dad is a doctor and Mom is a businesswoman, therefore they are both very busy and not always available.

"Because the Dean at your school called me. He said that your sister got into a fight. Gosh, I won't be surprised anymore. We are not related so we're different." she said while looking at her laptop.

"Don't talk like that, Mom. As if you talk like she's not your daughter. She is my sister, mom. She's your child and also our family!" I said angrily. Mommy annoys me because she doesn't consider Chloe as her daughter. I feel sorry for Chloe, so when Mommy says something bad to her, I get angry.

"My god Amelia, grow up! I don't have a child with a criminal father. You are my only child. You and John are my only family" Mom said. Chloe is in the dining room eating, and I'm sure she heard what Mommy said.

"You grow up, Mom! We all know that no matter what happens or what you do, you will not change the fate of Chloe as your daughter. Why don't you just accept it? Chloe is kind, there is no difference between Chloe and us, Mom. Please be kind to her. You are her mother, but you don't consider her part of your family? She is my blood sister. What kind of mother are you?" I said angrily while sobbing. I feel bad for Chloe because Mommy can't accept her. I did not realize that there was a hand landed on my face. Mom slapped me.
