'Dad! I'm bored!' Zoe came at sat on Luke's lap. 

'Can we go out or do something?' Charlie asked coming into the room.

Luke turned off the TV and looked towards Percy who looked at anything but Luke, Luke rolled his eyes and then looked back towards his kids, 'Ask your papa'.

'Luke!' Percy slightly hit his husband's shoulder.

'What?!' Luke pouted rubbing his shoulders. 

'Papa? Can we go out somewhere? Pretty please?' Charlie and Zoe asked showing him their baby seal eyes. 

Percy smiled a little before answering, 'How about we go to the beach, it's been a while since we went there' 

'Yayy! Thank you, Papa!' Both Zoe and Charlie tightly hugged Percy.  

---I am a time skip named Bob---

Luke and Percy stared as their kids played in the water. 

'It's so peaceful and nice it starting to scare me' Luke started breaking the silence between them. 

'They are getting older, they will turn 10 years old next month, and the thought that maybe they will also go through what we went through scares me' 

Percy sighed and gave a small smile, 'It scares me too, I don't want my kids waking up every day without enough sleep just because their sleep was filled with nightmares' 

'The demigod world is cruel, we can't do much about it'

'But we can try our best to protect them from the dangers, right?' Percy looked at Luke who just nodded at him.

'Whatever we do, we'll do it together, okay?' Luke gave a small smile and held Percy's hand. 

'I promise you that' Percy chuckled and pecked Luke's lips. 

And everyone knows promises are meant to be broken.

I will go out of here before you start trying to kill me for the last sentence, also, the end is near, but it's not the ending.
