Everything was quiet in the Castellan household, of course, blind towards the future that will happen in a few minutes.
Suddenly, the front door burst open, and the chatter of kids along with the laughter of their lovely father filled the house.
'Papa! I'm hungry!' Charlie groaned jumping onto the couch. He grabbed the TV remote and turned on the TV when Percy yelled at him.
'Charlie! Turn off the TV and change your clothes! I just cleaned that couch yesterday, get your stinky feet off it!'
'But Papa!' Charlie whined.
'Go!' Percy glared at him.
Charlie groaned and went upstairs pounding his feet on the stairs. Percy rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen to make some food for his kids.
After a few minutes he was done, he made pancakes again, he would have made something else, but that's what he and his kids preferred.
He placed the blue pancakes on the table along with some blue cookies and went back into the kitchen to clean.
The kids rushed downstairs in their home attire and sat at the table. They quickly grabbed plates and took two pancakes each with one cookie.
Percy joined them after he finished cleaning the kitchen and sat down, 'So, anything interesting happen in your school?' he asked.
'Not much, but I think Zoe would like to say something' Charlie replied giving Zoe a look.
'Ummm...I...I....' Zoe mumbled the rest of her sentence.
'You what?' Percy asked.
'I...I have a date this Friday' Zoe reveals slowly checking her father's reaction during every syllable.
Percy looked at her sinking in what she said, 'You have a date. With who?!' Percy asked his eyebrows furrowing together.
'Ummm... Uhhh...' Zoe stuttered. Knowing that his sister wasn't going to say anything, Charlie decided to spill, 'Asher Martinez'.
'What?! You will not be on a date with a boy, you are too young and are not allowed to date until you are at least 30 years!' Percy shouted.
'But Papa! What about if Dad allows?' Zoe asked anger visible in her face because of her parent's overprotectiveness.
'I'm sure your Dad will agree with me' Percy replied.
Zoe groaned and got up from the table. She shoved Charlie a little before stomping to her room and slamming the door.
Percy sighed and placed his head in his hands.
He really needed a break.
So, this chapter was supposed to be longer, but then... I remember "short chapters". So in the next chapter, you will get to see the continuation of this chapter, ft. Overprotective Luke.
