Chapter 12

The wedding was the most beautiful thing to happen. Everything was beautifully set thanks to the demigod's help. The groom was nicely dressed and waiting on the altar to marry his "bride".

Then, the star of the show showed up. Percy looked so handsome, his hair as messy as usual. He was in his white suit. Luke zoned out for a little time just thinking about how he had gotten so lucky.

Poseidon and Paul led Percy to him. Luke could feel tears in his eyes. He sniffed and bit his tongue stopping them from falling. 

Percy looked at Luke with a worried expression, he raised his eyebrows mentally communicating with him, asking him what happened.

Luke shook his head and smiled. 

Percy nodded in reply.

Then came the vows.

Luke went first, 'I will take your love to give me hope, give me joy, and make me a better man. I promise to listen, to hear, and to always consider your feelings and thoughts as we travel together on this journey. I vow to love, honor, and cherish you, forsaking all others, as a faithful husband as long as we both shall live.'

Percy could swear that if he didn't know better, he would have kissed Luke then and there.

'Percy?' Chiron called.

'Huh?' He looked at him, and then he realized that it was his turn to speak. 

He cleared his throat and looked at Luke before speaking, 'I vow to make you happy, to make you laugh, and to always be there for you. I vow to always protect you from harm, to stand with you against your troubles, and look to you when I need protection. I promise to always be with you no matter what'

'Beautiful vows' Chiron remarked. He then turned to Luke, 'Luke Castellan, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?' 

'I do' Luke replied.

'Do you Percy Jackson, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?' 

'I do'

'Then by the power given to me by the gods, I shall pronounce you husband and husband' Then came the part everyone was looking forward to, 'You may kiss'.

And they did, and they both can agree that this was one of the best kisses among many others to come. 

Sorry for not updating, I was really busy, and this chapter had to be really edited because I had first written this in like a casual style, so I had to rewrite the entire thing. 

Also, I am now working on a new book (everyone be like, "here she goes again..."), I know, I know, but I can't help it, I get too many ideas, plus, good news for all percabeth shippers, this is going to be a percabeth story. 

It's called 'What happened to us', it's angst with a happy ending, and yeah... I will be posting it soon, I actually liked how the prologue turned out, but idk.
