"So the plan is to split up and head to your parents 'save house'?" I ask. "Yes." Hayden confirms in his firm voice. "Okay lets do it." Everyone nods agreeing with me. Hayden has people get into groups of no less then 5 and up to 7 people. I grab Claire's arm and drag her to Alec and Alex. The twins greet us with open arms. With them is Rosie a mutation with the power to turn invisible. She's got dark brown almost black hair and brown eyes to match. She's younger then all of us at the age of 13. She is really shy and spent most of her time at the crazy house invisible. I smile at her. She smiles back shyly. Hayden smiles at all the groups. "Okay good. Now the bad thing is no one thought about how each of your powers mix." I look around and notice the same thing. He starts moving people around. I grab Claire's arm in a death grip. He is so not gonna separate us! He gives me a look and I glare back. He shakes his head but chooses to move Alex to a different group. Alec and Alex hug before Alex moves. They don't need each other for there power but there twins that's just cruel! Alec smiles at Claire and I then slides to my other side, hooking arms with me. Claire grabs Rosie and hooks arms with her. Shit we only have four people. Hayden quits and looks over the group. He has Nick move to are group. I glare at Hayden with hate. He meets my gaze and shrugs. This is not turning it like a wanted it to. I throw Nick a quick glare and huff. "Okay everyone get to the safe house as fast as you can! Connect the others only for emergencies. Make sure to just call on you're prepaid burn cells or a pay phone know where near where the group is. If you're going to call anyone no more then one or two people should be in the same area just in case you get tracked. Same goes when answering a call." We all nod at him. He claps loudly. "One more thing before we leave. Each group has a number. This number is what describes you. Also try to almost never use you're power in a busy area. Kit you can only shift in woods far from any houses or when you just really need to." I nod at him. He gives each group a number, i'm in group 2. "Group 1 set off! Group 2 will leave 20 minutes after you!" I go threw my stuff making sure I have everything. I hear my group fight but choose to ignore it. I slip my knife into my pocket and tie my shoe. "What do you think Kit?" Claire says angrily. I whip my head up. "What?" "Where should we go woods or city?" I open my mouth to say woods then stop. "Um. I really want to say woods but i'm guessing city would be safer. They can't have steel jaw traps or armed soldiers in the city." Claire nods at me pleased. Nick rolls his eyes and Alec smiles. "Okay group two! Go ahead!" Hayden yells. Claire starts dragging me out. "Wait no stop!" I whip my arm from her and jump into Hayden's arms. "Do not get you're self killed okay?" I whisper to him. He hugs me tightly. "Same goes to you too. This is not goodbye." I nod and he sets me down. I smile at him one last time before joining my group again. "You can go group two." Hayden states. I follow Claire out the door, glancing at Hayden one last time before, slamming the door.

"Can you like not!" I yell at the stranger and Rosie giggles under her breath. I flick off a another staring guy. We are on main street mixing with all the people on are way out of town. He smiles, looks at my cleavage again before looking down and walking away. "Okay this is not cool." I groan at Claire. She laughs at me. I walk ahead of the group to hit the cross button. A guy grabs my hips and pulls me against him. I try to pull away but he pulls me tighter, crushing my arms on his chest. "Hey sexy. I'll show you a fun time if you come with me." He flirts. I hold back a hiss and glare. "How about you let go before I break you're arm. " Nick states at my side. The guy laughs loudly. "That's funny. Now go walk you're self back to you're little loser g-" The guy lets out a little scream as Nick whips his arms from me and back behind his back. I shake out my wrist then take a step in front of the guy. I punch him as hard as I can. He falls to the ground. Out cold. Nick drops his arms and snakes his arm around my shoulder. I let him pull me to his side. We cross the road and try to disappear into  the crowd. Alec goes to Nick's side. "I thought we agreed to not to make a big seen!" Nick rolls his eyes. "What did you want me to do?!" I move tighter against Nick's firm body and try to keep pace with his longer legs. "Not that!" Alec whispers worried. "I think he did the right thing." I speak up. Alec gives me a look then sighs. "Are you okay Kit?" I nod. He smiles and drops back to Rosie and Claire. We cross another light in silence. "Are you really good?" Nick whispers. I shiver at the feel of his hot breath on my the top of my head. "My hand kind of hurts but other then that I'm fine." "Maybe you shouldn't't go around punching people then." Nick says under his breath. The crowd starts thinning as we reach residential areas. "Can we catch a bus? My feet hurt!" Claire complains behind us. "I agree we need to save some energy for running threw the woods." I add. Alec pulls out a bus map. "A block or so right will take us to a bus stop." Nick turns pulling me with him. I notice less guys are looking at me but more are checking out the two other girls. I should of had Nick act like my boyfriend hours ago! We walk down the street with all the houses that look almost the same. Rosie gasps loudly. I look back to see a black van a block away. She turns invisible. Nick grabs my hand and pulls me to the first house. Alec drags Claire and Rosie is hiding somewhere or following. Nick knocks on the door. A teenager around my age answers. He's got brown hair and bright blue/gray eyes. "Are you're parents home?" I ask sweetly. I try reading his thoughts but theirs a tight wall around them. That's odd. He checks me out quickly then looks at the rest of the group. "No." He says slowly. I open my mouth to speck. Nick grabs the guy and pushes him against the wall. He waves us all in. I pull Claire in with Alec following. I hold the door open a bit. Hopefully Rosie will get in here. I wait another minute before slamming the door. I flip the lock and turn to Nick in the dude. I stop in my tracks when a strong smell hits my nose. Werewolf? I look at the guy again and gasp when I see the tattoos up his arm. "Nick drop him!!!" I scream. Nick gives me a look but does as told. I step forward and take a deep breath or the guy. He stares at me in confusion. I take another deep breath, turning my head to the side in confusion also. Claire screams and I whip my head to see another guy around are age holding a kitchen knife to Claire's neck. The guy with brown hair grabs my arms and pulls me against him. I swear as a cold metal touches my neck. "Move and I will kill here!" The guy with Claire yells. I hiss loudly. "What are you?!" The guy behind me laughs. "Oh you know little kitty." I hiss again and glare at the guy with Claire. "You to state what you are then follow the other boys into the living room." Nick and Alec look at each other. I take a glance at what I believe is the rest of the pack. "I'm a.....Mutation. With the power of speed." Alec stutters out. The guy with Claire nods and whips his silver blackish hair. Two guys step forward, grabbing Alec and dragging him into what i'm guessing is the living room. Nick glares at both guys. "A tough of uh? I can deal with that. Sean please help him with some motivation." The guy holding me/Sean whispers a sorry in my ear before pushing the knife into my skin. I let out a quick breath. In try to ignore the pain. A warm gush of blood comes from the cut. I swear as the bright red color runs down my neck. Nick growls. " Born demon, dead raiser." The guy with Claire smiles then nods at two more guys. Nick gets dragged into the living room with Alec. The guy with Claire pulls the knife from her neck and pushes her into the living room with the other two. The guy that had Claire walks over to me and Sean. "Okay remove the knife." The guy whispers. I glare at him. He looks down at me. My yes widen at the fear in his eyes. Sean drops the knife from my neck. "My names Luke. I'm the alpha of the spirit white pack. Why did you invite you're self into Sean's house?" Luke asks in a deep tone. I smile at the smell of fear the I think is coming off of Sean. "I'm sorry about that. We are some of the escape's from the North Star asylum. We really had no other option then coming in here." Luke's eyes widen. "Oh lord! Why did you not just say that. BOYS! There from North Star!" There's some sounds from the living room and Nick yells my name. "What?" I yell back. "You good!" "I'm fine!" Luke grabs my chin and gently lifts my head up. "It's a small cut should heal fast." I roll my eyes and touch my neck. Heat shoots threw my chest and runs down my arms. I feel the light burn of my skin pulling as it heals. Luke stares at me in awe. "What are you?" Sean asks quietly. "A hybrid shifter-mind reader and healer. Can I please go into the living room now?" Luke nods and Sean lets go of my arms. I chirp loudly. In the living room Alec and Nick are sitting on a big sofa and Claire is on a love seat. I sit on the love seat with Claire. "Are you all right?" She smile at me and nods. I glance at the pack of six boys, who are scattered around the room. "So how's it going?" I ask anyone. All the boys look at me and smiling. "Boys be gentle man and please tell the you're names and ages." Luke says smoothly. A boy with black hair and brown eyes steps forward. "Names Arrow and i'm 15." He throws me a charming smile. Another boy pulls Arrow back. "I'm Jake and 18 years old." Jake steps back quickly. The next boy throws Claire a smile. "Got the name of Griffin as a kid. Age of 16." A few more boys say there name before my glace meets a glare. I turn my head to the side studying the boy. He's got one blue eye and a brown one. His light brown hair is long. Long enough to hang a little over his eyes. I check him out fully. Okay wow. I glance at Claire to see her almost drooling. I smirk at her then look back at the guy. He stares at me with a weird expression. Griffin pushes him forward. The guy breaks the staring contest and fakes a smile. "Names Luca, age 16." He looks at me again then looks at the ground. I sit up more. Liquid runs out of my nose on to my mouth. I make a face at the taste of blood and touch my fingers on the top of my lip. I pull back my fingers now covered in blood. What the hell? I stare at my hands in confusion. I have never in my 15 years of life have had a bloody nose. "Kit?" Nick ask moving to my side. I glance at him then cover my mouth. I gag and jump up, running to what i'm guessing is the kitchen. I hear foot steps follow me as I try holding back the vomit. I grab on to the counter and lean over the sink. "Kit are you okay?!" Claire pulls back my hair. I gag again and let it all out. Claire gasps, dropping my hair. She covers her mouth and points at the sink. I throw her a look then look at the sink too. A blanket of dizziness covers my brain as I stare at the bright red liquid splattered over the sink. I whip my mouth with the back of my hand. Blood smears on to my hand and I lean against the counter. Strong hands grab my waist and pull me against a body. I grab on to the bodies shirt. "Kit? What's going on?" Nick whispers in my ear. I pull away from him and puke more blood up. Shivers run up my body. I grab a hand towel, sticking it under my still running rose. Claire gasps again and covers her face "OMG there's blood coming from you're eyes!" She screams, pointing at my face. I touch under my eyes. Again blood covers my fingers. Luke walks in front of me and grabs my shoulders. "Kit. I need you to shift." He demands calmly. I shake my head quickly. "Kit listen. You could die in less then a minute. I need you to shift now." I shake my head again, ignoring his alpha voice. That don't work on me. Claire comes to my side. She stares into my eyes. Kit you will shift. You need to. I try to stop my body from doing what she commends. Claire grabs my wrists. Shift. NOW!  Iundo my pants and slid them off. My minds to fight off or block out her command. Luke lets his yes wonder before looking away. Nick rushes the other guys from the room. I peel of my shirt and throw of my shoes. "LUCA!" Nick yells. I drop to my knees, letting the shift take over.

I stretch before whipping my tail in anger. "What the hell?! Why was there blood?!" I mind yell at everyone. Claire kneels in front of me. I hiss at her. "Why the fuck did you use you're mind commands on me!" She flinches. "Kit I know you're upset, you have all the right to be, but right now I need you to get on the table." Luke speaks up. I glare at him but smoothly jump on the table. I groom my paw and glare at Claire and Luke. Luca come up behind Luke. Luke looks at me. "Luca here is a hybrid also. His dad had the power of blood control so does Luca but he does not understand how to control it........I'm guessing you know what happened to you now?" I set my paw down and glare at Luke. "You're telling us he pulled her blood out with out knowing he was doing." Nick growls. Claire tries taking a step towards me. I pin my ears and hiss at her. "I'm sorry I had to mind control you! You of all people should no that's the best way for you to heal or break out of a power!" She pleads me to understand. I whip my tail. "You can shift back now." Luke mutters. I jump off the table and grab my clothes carefully from the ground. I walk into the living room, grabbing my bag from the floor. All the boys stare at me. Some in amazement others in hate. I trot out of the room and back into the kitchen. Luke points at Luca. I flick my tail and look at Luca. He mutters. "I will show you a safe bathroom.'' He walks down a hallway and turns left. I look back at Luke before following slowly behind. The room Luca walked into is plan with a bed and dresser. He points at a door then throws him self on the bed. I walk into the small bathroom and change.
