Spider man: Great Responsibility

Act 1

Spider man swung around the city better than ever. He was in his absolute prime today. He had a graduation to go to but there was a news report saying that there was someone robbing a bank. Spider man swung to the crime scene in his suit MJ gave him a year prior with a few adjustments in it. Escaping from the bank was the beetle flying away in his wings with bags of money on him. Police helicopters tried chasing after him but they could not catch up to the beetle. As all hope seems gone and the beetle gets away with the money, Spider man swings in to stop the beetle and to save the day. Spider man kicks the beetle from behind and the two start fighting in midair. The money fell on the ground, but safe. The two continue fighting but the beetle flies highest but spider man webs onto him as spider man breaks his wings and they both keep fighting while the two are falling. But spider man webbed the beetle up and swung down safely with the beetle all tied up. Spider man took him to the police and they thanked spidey for getting the beetle and the money back. They police take the beetle's mask off and put him inside of a police car. Spider man swings away with people applauding him. Then the officer in charge, Jefferson Davis steps out of his police car and stares at spider man as he swings away. He says under his breath "I despise that guy". He then goes to the man in the beetle suit, Abner Jenkins and tells him that they will have a talk in the police station. Spider man swings to the graduation. He feels proud of himself and feels like his uncle Ben would be proud too. He makes it to the graduation just on time and meets MJ, Harry and aunt May there. Peter and Harry talk about their plans on going to the same university together and how they are going to study physics there. It will be only 2 months before they will start their new university. MJ will be going to another University quite far away from where Peter is going so they won't be able to see each other as much. Aunt May comes to Peter and hugs him and talks about how his uncle Ben would be so proud just like how she was proud of him. Norman Osborn walks in and congratulates Peter and Harry. He tells Peter that he sees a good man inside of Peter and that Peter was on a path of great success. He does not say anything to Harry and Harry feels a bit ignored. Norman then gets a call from Wilson Fisk. Fisk says that they need to have a board meeting at Fisk tower. Norman says that he will be there right away. Norman leaves Harry at his graduation and drives off to Fisk tower. Harry felt really sad that even though he made it through high school, his dad still doesn't seem to care about him or be proud like any father would. At Fisk tower, Norman walks in and takes a seat at the table where Wilson Fisk and many other crime lords like tombstone and hammer head and others were sitting. Fisk talked about how Osborn's plan of hiring villains to distract the web head failed and that they needed to come up with a new plan before anyone traces all of this back to them. Norman Osborn came up with the idea that they needed to kill the bug. One of the crime lords made the point that the web head saved Osborn's butt from Octavious twice. Osborn simply didn't care though. Spider man may have saved him, but he was still a distraction that could get into the way of his plan. Norman always saw the world in a different view than others. He thought that the world was weak, but if Oscorp took over, life could be so much better. Osborn agreed with other crime lords that if they helped and when the plan was complete, they could split land with them. Norman thinks of a world where he was on top and that he would do anything to complete his plan. Even if it meant killing good people like spider man. Norman Osborn then got another call from Dr Connors. Connors said the serum was ready for testing. Osborn had to leave the board meeting and said that they could talk another time. Osborn drove to Oscorp and met with Dr Connors and Adrien Toomes. Dr Connors said that the serum had been perfected but they do not know the side effects yet. They were going to test it on a lab rat but Osborn wanted to try it himself. He didn't care what Connors said. He only listened to when Connors said that the serum had been perfected. Dr Connors refused to give the serum to Osborn but Osborn took the serum anyway and drank it. Norman had never felt so good in his life. He had never felt so much strength and agility before. Norman punched a computer and the computer smashed into little pieces of circuits. This could be the next big step for humanity. For him. At the police station, Officer Davis and Abner Jenkins were in an interrogation room. Officer Davis asked if Jenkins were working for anybody. There had been criminals like him for months now and they all seemed very similar to one another. Jenkins said that he would never confess to anything. If he does, they would kill him. Officer Davis asked who was 'they'. Jenkins said that 'they' weren't important. Jenkins then told them to just lock him up so they did so. Officer Davis got home and went inside. He saw that the news was on and that spider man was on TV from what happened earlier with the beetle. Jefferson Davis turned the TV off. His wife, Rio Morales then came into the room and greeted him. She asked why he didn't like spider man. Jefferson responded that everyone calls him a hero when he is more of a vigilante. He also does what the police are meant to do and doesn't answer to anybody. He also looks very suspicious. Then an 8 year old Miles Morales ran into the room to give his dad a hug. Jefferson hugged his son back. Jefferson then asked how school was for Miles today. Miles said that it was great. He also mentioned how he saw Spider man swing past his school earlier today and how amazing it was. Jefferson smiled and gave Miles another hug. Spider man meant a lot to Miles. But Jefferson just took it that Miles was too young to understand who spider man really was. In another place in New York, Spider man went swinging with MJ with the sun setting. They were having a good time and MJ felt happy swinging with spider man. Peter then brought up that even if they can't see each other as much once they were in university, they will still keep in touch. Peter's life was going perfect. Everything was great. Peter had the time for his personal life and as his secret personal life. Peter puts his spiderman suit on and swings around the city because he felt absolutely victorious. People would cheer for him wherever he went and it made Peter happy. Spider man would swing through the streets of new york. And then he would go to the front of the empire state building where a bunch of fans were waiting for him. Spider man would sign autographs and Peter felt like he was some kind of a celebrity. After that, Peter went to the bugle to give pictures to J Jonah Jameson. Peter gave Jameson pictures of Spider man fighting villains such as stilt man, the jackal and the frogman. Jameson said that all of the pictures sucked but gave Peter $300 anyway. Jameson said that the headline will say 'SPIDER MAN TERRORISES CITY'. Peter tries to convince Jameson that spider man is a hero but Jameson said that he was annoying and that he was tempted to replace Parker with Brock. Brock? Who was this Brock person? Peter didn't care about this Brock person right now and went to the storage room where he changed into Spiderman and started swinging around the city. Spider man did small things like visiting children who were in the hospital, saving someone's dog from being run over by a car and gave a hand to an old person who needed help walking across the street. It was these small things that really made Peter a friendly neighborhood spider man. That night at Oscorp, Norman couldn't sleep. He went down to the lab to drink some more of the new green serum. Then Norman took more and more and more. Norman was getting addicted to the serum. Then a laugh came echoing through the room. Norman asked who was there and started searching for anyone possibly in the lab. Then he thought it might just all be in his head. Then Norman looked in the mirror and saw that he appeared to look strange. His skin was turning light green, his eyes were a bit yellow and his teeth were sharper than before. Norman looked at his hands. They were turning slightly light green and his nails were getting sharper like a goblin's. A voice was inside his head. The voice said that this was what humanity was always meant to become. The voice told him that he needed to betray all of the other crime lords to get what he wanted. Power. The voice told Norman to go to the basement where all of Oscorp's abandoned projects. He saw a green suit and a glider with grenades. A project Him and Otto Octavious worked on for the military before it went their own ways and the project went to the basement of Oscorp to rot. Norman looked at the mask of the suit. It looked a lot like a goblin's face. A touch that Norman made himself to make the suit look more menacing. The next day, the news said that John Jameson was going on a space mission over the next few months to research an asteroid that had crashed into the moon. Harry called Peter to see if they wanted to hangout to talk about life. They meet up and have a chat. Harry thanked Peter for always being there for him and said that his father wasn't always there for him. His dad was always working on his company and his mother left him a long time ago so it was nice hanging out with Peter from time to time. Peter said that his life has been hard too since his uncle died. But he got past it. That night, Peter was at home waiting for his spiderman outfit to be cleaned in the washing machine. Once it was cleaned, Peter wore the suit underneath him and went out to the city. Peter saw some people wearing some masks with guns and bags walk into a bank. Peter walked into an alleyway and took his normal clothes off and put his spider man mask on. Some criminals were robbing a bank and holding people at gunpoint. They were taking money from the bank. Spider man swung in and started fighting the criminals. The criminals tried shooting spider man but spider man dodged all of the bullets and started webbing them up. All of the criminals were webbed up except for one of them. The last criminal tried to escape and got into the getaway car. He started driving away and Spiderman started chasing him. Spider man then started webbing the car up. The car stopped and the criminal got out of his car and grabbed his gun and tried shooting spider man but spider man dodged the bullets and using his webs, spiderman got the gun and threw it away. The police came over as Spiderman swung away. Spider man was proud and realised that this was the exact way to keep the city safer for everybody. The next day at the daily Bugle, Jameson got the everyone who worked for him together and Jameson said that he had enough of Spider man being a menace to the city and no one listening so he wanted to prove to the public that spider man was a threat to the entire city. Jameson called for Peter Parker and Eddie Brock to get to his office. Eddie Brock introduces himself to Peter. Peter saw something fishy about Eddie. He didn't like Eddie. Jameson says that Peter and Eddie will be working together to take pictures of spider man to prove that he is a menace to the city. They parted ways. Peter thought that Eddie could not prove spider man was a menace because he wouldn't let him. Peter put his spiderman suit on and swung across the city. People cheered for him as he swung passed them. Spider man felt like almost everything was going perfect for him. It was as if life couldn't get any better for him. That night, Wilson Fisk was in Fisk tower looking out his window, imagining how the city will look once he takes over. He then sees something heading right to his tower. A man in a green costume flying a glider flies by and takes a grenade out of a bag he was holding. Wilson Fisk runs out of the way as the bomb gets thrown into the building and explodes. Wilson Fisk runs down the building as the building evacuates. People are screaming as most of the building gets blown up. Wilson Fisk escapes as he sees the goblin looking man fly away. Police cars drive to the crumbling building. Officer Davis gets out of his police car to see people inside the building who are in danger. Officer Davis then makes a brave move by going inside the building and getting all of the people out of there. He then saw that a man was stuck underneath some rubble. Officer Davis tried lifting the rubble up but it was too heavy. Then he got a few police officers to help him lift the rubble off the man. Together, they end up saving the man and getting out of the building before it all collapses. People were horrified by what had just happened. And what is even worse is that some people died in the collapse of the building. The next day, Peter hears about how there is a new villain in town and that he can destroy the entire city. Everyone is in a panic. People call him 'the green goblin'. Peter gets worried. This green goblin person sounds more powerful than anyone spiderman has ever faced. Peter spends a lot of time as spiderman looking for the goblin but can't seem to find him. He doesn't want the city to go in a panic. He doesn't want people to fear. Which was why he had to find the green goblin. Peter then felt guilty. He could have been there helping to save people's lives but instead he wasn't there and people died. Spider man went swinging across the city and went to Wilson Fisk and asked him everything that had happened. Wilson Fisk explained everything to spider man. Spider man thanked Wilson Fisk for the information and swung away. Spider man couldn't think of anything else other than finding and stopping the green goblin. Spider man climbs to the top of a building and gets a view of the entire city. Spider man knew that new york was his city to protect and he would not let the green goblin attack the city. At aunt May's house we see aunt May very worried for Peter. She worried about him every night. What if Peter got killed like uncle Ben? Peter does have super powers but that doesn't make him invincible. But she had no choice but to trust her nephew. He was the protector of the city after all.
