Over the next week, things were beginning to become a little frantic. Draco was pressuring Alesso by having his group of Slytherin following her every second. It was extremely frustrating when they were trailing her every step. Alesso also thought they were remarkably clueless. For a group of people trying to be quiet, she had never heard anyone so loud! Usually when she was quiet, you couldn't hear a pin drop!

Nonetheless, Alesso had her curious and cunning cousin to deal with in the common room when his group weren't there to watch her. She ahd heard from the Gryffindor side of Hogwarts that things weren't going as good as they could be usually. According to Harry strange things were happening, especially in regards to the basilisk that she knew existed. Lucky for her though, Harry had no idea she could speak or hear snakes. He didn't even know what a parselmouth was!

Also, Ron was constantly raging on about how Percy was bullying Ginny. She was apparently really stressed and Percy was forcing her to take different potions in order to calm down. Unfortunately for her, one of the potions had a side effect of smoke coming out of the person's ears, so when poor Ginny took it; her entire head looked to be on fire, because of the bright red hair she had that cascaded down her back.

In the moments that Harry and Alesso could actually talk, it was rushed and they could only find out ne or two things happening in the other's lives. One of their secrets went much like this:

During Herbology when collecting leaves in pairs, Harry and Alesso had been put together. Alesso was pretty happy at this, because it would mean she would have a chance to get to talk to Harry and maybe get a little kiss as well.

They had been walking under a tree and were a far view away from the class when Alesso deemed it safe to start speaking to him. Just to be sure though, she used her power to hear if anyone was nearby.

She immediately got a small nosebleed, courtesy of Draco. By the way that the Slytherins were following her everywhere, she could hardly exercise her powers with them watching, therefore the elasticity of her ability to not get nosebleeds was stretching.

Harry helped straight away...

"Are you alright Alesso? Your nose is bleeding a lot!" he was extremely concerned.

"Oh yeah, " she replied with a plugged nose, "I'm good, must be my allergies to this tree, "she sidetracked away from the tree and closer to Harry who was a little to the right of her.

Harry offered her a hanky which she accepted gratefully.

He started a conversation, desperate to say something in front of Alesso. She made him incredibly nervous.

"So, Neary Headless Nick invited Hermione, Ron and I to a Deathday Party to celebrate the day he died which the ghosts call Deathday, haha, " he chuckled, nervously, "which is weird really, because who would want to celebrate the day they died, I mean really it's just depressing, " he was rambling and Alesso thought it was cute.

She walked up to him swaying her hips, before she suddenly brought her lips to his in a quick kiss. He immediately stopped talking and responded into the kiss. He gently put his hand and cupped Alesso's chin in it, deepening the kiss. This went on for a few minutes until they had to stop for air. Alesso quickly performed a spell, so they wouldn't appear as dishevelled when they had to go back to class.

"So, a Deathday party, hey? That sounds pretty cool, well... I hope you have fun!" Alesso said.

"I'm sorry I can't bring you, I'm not sure the Gryffindor Ghost would take nicely to a Slytherin student, but if it's any consolation, I like you, so it doesn't matter about what house you are in to me, " he said awkwardly.

"Don't worry Harry! If you want to keep whatever this is as a secret, I'm alright with it, I'm not sure I'm ready yet for anyone to know yet either, especially Draco and my fellow Slytherins..." Alesso trailed off annoyed. She then proceeded to relay how Draco had all the Slytherin's watching her wherever she went.

They agreed that they would keep their not- quite a relationship a secret and that they would each try to find a place they could meet without the prying eyes of others.

With that, they walked back to Herbology pretending that nothing had happened. It seemed to fool Draco because he looked satisfied by the distance between her and Harry.

Later in the Slytherin common room:

Alesso was tired from the days lessons, they had been tediously slow after herbology and all Alesso wanted to do was collapse on her bed for a well deserved rest. However fate had other plans and she was shocked to find a letter sitting on her bed with a dark but beautiful calligraphy, she had only ever seen once at the Malfoy's...
