~Lucius' point of view~

To ensure the girl's entry into the place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry if they can even call it a school I have to register her existence with the ministry. Though, I have to be quiet about her parents, otherwise the girl will be persecuted for just having the last name Lestrange with the amount of evil that is associated with it.

Therefore, for the best interest of the girl, I shall have to invent a new surname to deceive others of her heritage. I think it will be... Carsen. Yes, Alesso Carsen. Perfect.

"Alesso!" I called her ready for a day of change and her admission towards the school. Thinking of it, this was sure to satisfy both Narcissa now and Bellatrix later when she gets out of Azkaban.

Later in the ministry...

~Alesso's point of view~

Lucius had left me near the dark contrasting walls of the ministry to speak to the minister about me. That's fine. Sure, I'm totally fine with sitting outside here in the main lobby of the ministry while many wizards whizzed past me going about their usual lives. I mean sure, it is interesting to watch how wizards converse with each other but other than that their stares and fleeting glances towards myself are not welcomed lightly.

So here I am, just sitting here waiting for Lucius to return while I glare at the people who look at me.
Suddenly, I feel as if I am not alone. I see an old man sitting next to me. Curiosuly I wondered how he could actually sit on the ground. Old people aren't strong enough for that.

"Oh ho, young one I think you'll find that with age it is easier to sit on the floor, us 'old' as you call us find it easier to sit on the floor because we are less restless than the young ones, therefore once we sit it becomes quite enjoyable to be sitting here." The old man had started talking a reply and I briefly wondered if he could hear inside my head.

Oops, then I realised that I must have said that out loud. Stupid Alesso.

Turning to look at the old man again, I muttered a brief apology, "Sorry, it was my mistake to be so judgemental, please forgive me, I won't do it again." I had learnt that common courtesy could land me in the best of places at the worst of times.

"Dear child, you have amazing manners, now tell me what your name is, so I can know the pleasure of your acquaintance," Dumbledore implored.
"My name is Alesso and the pleasure is all mine, sir," Alesso explained.

"Ah Alesso, such a pretty name, my name is Albus Dumbledore, now why exactly are you sitting all alone in the halls of the ministry?" Dumbledore said.

"Well, you see I need to get into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Mr Malfoy explained that my existence hasn't yet been registered within the ministry records. Therefore we are down here to get my name in the records and plead with the minister to persuade the headmaster of Hogwarts to let me have a place there," Alesso said like there were a million other places she would rather be at in that moment.

Dumbledore simply stared at me as if looking into my very soul. The piercing gaze never stopped until he starting talking.

"Dear Alesso, it shouldn't be such a hard task for you to earn a spot at Hogwarts, because you are already a smart and intelligible young lady who I can already sense will be a great and very talented witch with the proper training."

This man must be simply pulling my finger here to annoy me, there is no possible way that he knows all this stuff about me, because I am the Dark Lord's daughter and I know deep within me that no-one must know who I am until the right time. There was no way he could know all these great things from just having met me. I wanted to know how this, so I asked sarcastically, "Oh yeah, and how would you know that?" I tried to sound as intimidating and closed off as I could.

He simply chuckled at my effort and stood up, as he walked away I thought he wasn't going to answer until he said, "Because child, I am Professor Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry and you have already earned a place by your witty and unrelenting charm".

I tried to yell back some awesome comeback that I knew who he was, but I couldn't as I stood there opening and closing my mouth like a gaping fish. For once in my life I was speechless.
