Trying to Find Damion

I wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare. It was Damion and he had been shot. I get out of bed walk to my balcony and open the doors. As I open them there stands Damion. I wrap my arms around him, but he doesn't. I step back to see it's not Damion, but it's Zach. I look up at him as he grabs my waist and leans down to kiss me. Then he's gone, "He didn't even kiss me" I say.

I walk back inside but leave my doors. I turn on the lamp on my desk and pull out my drawing of Zach . I draw the wings last. When it's done I pin the drawing on the wall with the other ones. I put the picture of William and I in the drawer that I never open. I get up and look at my phone. It's three in the morning, so I get back into bed. I fall asleep pretty fast but I have another nightmare about Damion.

I see Damion standing in a field with other angels. One of them I've never seen before or just don't remember her. Damion calls her Sky. They are all in a field training for something. Damion starts getting into a fight with one of the other Angels. Sky hits a tree and someone knocks Damion out. He is bleeding out of his side.

I wake up and it's 11 clock so I grab my phone, keys and wallet. I walk down to the Mall.  As soon as I get there I go into the Nerd Store. I buy a Walking Dead purse, belt, and an Once Upon A Time bag. I later walk into a old store with merchandise from the 80s. I found a Guns n Roses T-shirt. After that I walk into a little book store on the way home and find a "When Words Fail Music Speaks" sketch book.

On the way home I find a ring in the gutter. I pick it up and see letters carved into it. They say "Z and T." I walk the rest of the way home and run up the stairs to my room. I drop my bags on my bed and go over to my desk. I pull open a drawer and grab my golden jewelry box with my initials carved on the front. I open it and put the ring next to the one Damion gave me on my birthday.

I wish I knew more about where Damion is. I go down the hall to my moms room and knock on the door.  She doesn't answer so I walk to Damion's room and open the door. I walk in and lock the door behind me. I look through all of his drawers and under his bed. Then I remember he told me about the loose floor boards by the fire place. I walk over there and push on the boards. After 5 minutes I finally found them.

I pull them out of the floor and find a book and a necklace in there. I pull them out and put the boards back.  I stand up run over to the door and unlock it and look out to make sure no one is in the hall. I then step out quietly and close the door behind me. I run down the hall to my room. I close the door and go to my bed. I sit on my bed and go through the book.

All I find is tons of pictures of him and Sky. There is one picture that shows a mortal teenage girl. On the back of the picture he wrote "I failed, I'm sorry that I failed." I then remembered something about if you're person dies by their own hand we lose our wings. So I get up and walk over to my desk and grab my Angel book. I open it to chapter 18 and start reading.

A little bit later I find the page. It says "if you can't protect your person then you lose your wings and get sent to earth tell you regain you job to protect and care for someone." I grab the book and go upstairs to Abigail's room. I knock on her door and she tells me to come in.  I set the book down and tell her to read it. She looks up at me and says " do you think he was sent there?" "Yes I do, but we need to figure out how to get there first." she nods her head in agreement but she says "we also need to get more information on what happened to him." we both agree and I head back down stairs.

I get down stairs to the third level when I see my mom. She is standing in front of my door. I walk down the hall and ask if she wants to come in. "Yes I need to tell you something" she says.  "What about" I say as I'm setting my book down. She tells me how there is going to be a war soon. I then asked her if she knows where Damion is. She just looked down and shaked her head no.

I sigh and say "okay well I'm going to bed, got a long day tomorrow." She hugs me then leaves. I lay on my bed and drift off to sleep. For it was so quiet that you could here my dreams. And once again I dreamed of Damion and Sky. Yet I also dreamed of Zach.

Damion came home and me and Abby where so happy. We ran and hugged him that we all fell on the floor and started laughing. We all get up and walk upstairs to his room. Abigail and I keep asking him questions about him and Sky. He laughs and talks about his life down on earth. Sky then walks in the room and Damion stands up and kisses her. I look at them and sigh. "if only I had someone to love me like Damion loves Sky."

I wake up breathless and in pain. I begin crying. I crawl out of bed and open the door to my bathroom. I find my inhaler in the cabinet. I stand up slow and feel light headed. I grab it and go back to my bed. I feel the pressure finally release off of my chest. I lay on my back and control my breathing. I see something shinny on my floor. I get up and walk over to get in. It's Damion's old necklace that he gave me. Maybe I dropped it. All I know is something is very wrong. I grab it put it in my jewelry box and see the ring I found yesterday is gone.
