Unexpected secrets

A week later...

Abby walks in my room. "Damn girl it's dark in here" she says trying to find her way through the mess. "Yes" I say. She finally finds her way to my bed. "Tessa, you need to leave this room and go to school" she says quietly. "No, I can't" I say almost bursting into tears. "Why, you can tell me" she's says smoothly. "I can't" I bark "It's between Zach and I". "Okay" she says angrily "I gotta go to school". "Bye" I say.

Once she left my room I got up and sat on the floor. I hadn't eat for a couple days. A few minutes later my phone rings. Not paying attention to who is calling I answer.
"Hello?" I say.
"Hey baby" he says.
"What do you want" I ask.
"To talk to you" he says.
"Oh, how about no" I say and hang up.

I sit in my room hugging my self. I look off into the distance and never even heard Bennett enter my room. He sits down next to me. I look over at him. He doesn't look happy to see me. I look away but he won't let me. "You need to talk to him" he says kinda in a scary tone. "No I'm not ready to talk to him" I say shyly. "You do know he's going crazy without you" he says staring at me. "What do you mean" I ask curiously.

Bennett stands up and reaches for my hand. I don't take it and get up by my self. He grabs me and pulls me towards the door. "NO" I yell in his ear. He turns around and looks at me. "Tessa you haven't eaten in days and you need to eat". "No eating is for happy people, and I am not happy, I am miserable". "Then stop making your self miserable" he says which felt like he was smacking me.

I feel hurt. "Why would you think that" I say annoyed. He glares at me, then he leaves. I sit back on the floor and start to think it over. Finally I get up and call Zach back. It rings once and he answers. "Tessa is everything alright" he's says kinda scared. "Yes I'm fine" I say. "Uhh" is all I hear through the phone. "Zach, you were right we do need to talk" I say. "Okay, how about I come over in a few" he says sounding happy. "I guess" is all I said and hung up.

After I hang up I got up slowly and carefully went down stair when I fell because I was so weak. I dragged my self into the kitchen and got up again. I opened the fridge and looked for something to eat. I found some pasta Abby brought home. I warm it up and eat it. I was almost finished when Zach walked through the door. I glare at him. "What" he asks. "We are not dating and you can't just walk through the door like that" I say sharply.

He looks at me confused. "Tess". "Don't call me that" I say. "Tessa" he says reaching for my hand. I let him take it for what's the point in fighting it. "Tessa" he says looking in to my eyes. He smiles "I remember the first day I looked into your eyes and knew I really loved you" he says and I blush with out even knowing.

"What's going on with you" he asks. "Zach I broke up with you because I was, no I am scared that you're just using me" I say and look away from him. "Never in my life would I put some through so much hell but I keep pushing my self away trying to protect everyone else" I say not looking at him. "Tessa look at me please" he asks in a pleading voice. Finally I look at him with tears in my eyes. "Don't cry baby" he says "I am always going to be there for you even if we are not together".

Instead of saying anything I just hugged him. When tears rolled down my face. I hugged him harder hoping it was a dream that would never end. when he picked me up and took me upstairs to my room. He laid me down and I winned in pain. He walked around and laid on the other side. I cuddled up to him and held on to his shirt. "I'm so sorry, I guess I'm just selfish and I didn't know what I was putting you through" I say and burst into tears. "Shh" he says "it's okay Im here now and I am not leaving you ever."

I fell asleep for once warm and happy. I woke up to Abby yelling. I looked to see Zach laying there asleep. I kiss his cheek and go down stairs. Abby stands in the kitchen where I had fallen earlier. I noticed blood on the floor. I touch my head and feel a sting. She looks up at me shocked.

"Are you okay" she asks and runs up and hugs me. "I guess" is all I say. Then you hear Zack freak out. He comes running down the stairs in a panic. "What" Abby and I say at the same time. He just like at me wide eyed. "Earth to Zach" I say. "Are you okay" he asks. "Ya why" I say. "There was blood on your pillow and you where gone again when I woke up" he says. "Sorry didn't want to wake you" I say and see Abby looking at us. "No we are not together" I say.

"Well I better head home" He says and leaves. "Tessa do you know that Sky is pregnant?" "No I didn't" I say "is it a girl or boy?" she laughs "It's a girl and there going to name her Artemis." "Cool well I need to shower" I say and head up stairs.

The next morning I get up and actually go to school. Once I was ready I went down stairs. Abby and I walked to school. Once I get there I go straight to the counselors office. She tells me to just go to class and say I was "sick". I walk to class and see Bennett on the way. I smile at him but he doesn't notice.

I walk into class to see Damion sitting there. I sit next to him but don't talk to him. About lunch time Sky pulls Abby and I aside. "I need your help with something." I look at Abby and then back at Sky. "Well" I say. "I need to tell Damion I had an affair with someone else" she says. "Oh, well we can do something" says Abby.

Abby and I head to lunch. Zach sits next to me but doesn't touch me. I hold my self back from throwing my self at him. I wish I could get my feelings straight. Abby and Jude are deep in conversation. Sky looks tired and Damion looks annoyed. I look over at Zach to see him looking at me.

I stand up and walk outside. I stand against the wall waiting for him to follow. I watch him come out of the door looking for me. He about turns around when he spots me. I call him over with my finger. He walks over and stands infront of me, blocking me from everything else.

I look up at his eyes. I can see fire and restraint in his blue eyes. I can tell he's holding back from touching me, like I am from him. "I can't take it" I say. he looks at me confused "Can't take what" he asks. "This" I motion between us. He still continues to look at me weirdly. "Ugh" I say and grab his shirt. I pull him against me. "This don't we are back together" I say and kiss him. I feel him slip his arms around me. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling my self even closer. I jump and wrap my legs around his hips.

The kiss has fire, warmth and so much power. I pull away to look at him. I press my forehead against his. we are both breathing heavily. "Why did you kiss me" I ask. He slowly pulls his head away. "I wanted to" he says "Why did you?" I take a moment and say "Because you are too damn sexy. " He laughs and kisses my forehead. I drop down and take his hand. "Walk me to class" I ask in a pleading voice. "I was going to whether or not you wanted me too" he says and smiles at me.

We walk to class and I hug him. "I love you Tessa" he says. "I know" I say and walk in class. After school I go home and sit on my couch. "Ugh" I say right as Abby walks in. "What is the matter with you now" she says. I lay my head between my knees "I may or may not have kissed him" I say. "Ugh" she says "Why did you?" "Point made and I don't know, might be because he is hella sexy" I say and she laughs. "Tessa you can't just kiss a guy because he's sexy" she says and rolls her eyes.

"Come on, that's not fair" I says. She laughs "Tessa, you are crazy." I get up and grab my phone. I send him a text asking if he wants to go get dinner. Soon after I send the message someone knocks on the door. I walk over and answer it. Zach stands on the porch. "Really you could have replied" I say. I let him come in and go upstairs to put on shoes. I just put on flats and grab my purse.

I go back stairs and we leave. Abby yells "bring me home some food." I laugh "Okay Abby I will." We go to Cafe Rio. I order for Abby and I, while Zach orders and pays for it. We sit down and just talk. He wants to get back together but I am not ready.

Once we are done he drops me off at home. He walks me to the door. I grab my keys but drop them. He picks them up and opens the door. I look up at him and I know he wants to kiss me goodnight. "Thank you and goodnight Zach" I say and head inside. I close the door and yell "I have food." Abby strolls through the door that separates our condo. She takes the food and leaves. I head upstairs and go to bed.
