Home Within Reach

Once I get to the house Abby opens the door. "Hurry Tess" she says as she waves me in the house. I step in to see Raziel pacing the living room floor. Abby grabs my wrist and pulls me to the back room. Once I walk in the room I see Damion standing next to the bed. Sky is laying on the bed and her color is pale white.

I walk to the other side of the bed and take her hand. She can barley even open her eyes to look at me. "What's going on" I ask with my voice shaking. "The baby has decided to come way to early" says Damion not looking away from Sky. My heart sinks and I kind of want to cry. "Okay what do we have to do" I ask looking at Abby. She looks at me and I instantly know what to do.

Abby and I went to work on getting the baby out. Telling Sky to push as hard as she could but her color kept fading. Finally we managed to get the baby out. I took the baby to the bathroom and washed her up. "Little Artemis" I say as I walk back to the room.

I handed Artemis to Damion and looked at the lifeless Sky. I feel a tear run down my cheek. I look up at Abby and she has her head in her hands crying. I look over at Damion crying while holding Artemis. I look down at Sky and see my fingers tips light up. "My magic works" I say to my self.

"I can heal her, Damion, let me heal her" I say and look over at him. I see him look at her then at Artemis like he's debating it. Finally he yells "DO IT" and looks away from Sky. I place my fingers over her heart and say a few words for it to work. I pull my hand away to see color come back in her cheeks. Suddenly I hear a very faint "Damion" and I look at Sky.

Damion grasps and says "SKY!" He hands me Artemis and sits next to Sky. I turn and walk into the living room with Artemis still in my arms. I look at Raziel and looks at me with worried eyes. I say "they are both okay." He smiles and I take Artemis back to the room. Once I get there I'm blinded by a bright light coming from the room.

Abby's straightens up and says "Look, it's the door, we can go home." I become instantly shocked and loose my breath. Damion walks up next to me and looks about as shocked. "How" I say trying to find words. He just shakes his head. I turn and hand Artemis to Sky, she smiles at me as I leave the room.

I continue walking out the front door ignoring every one. I just kept walking tell I found my self in front of Zach and Jude's house. I stand there debating whether to go up to the door or keep walking. Finally I make a decision to walk up to the door.

Then two girls walk out of the door and I feel like I just got punched in the stomach. One of the girls glares at me and I just loose it. I turn and run home as fast as I can. Once I get home I run upstairs lock my self in my room and scream at the top of my lungs. I then grab my notebook and start ripping pages out it and start throwing them across the room.

After I ran out of paper I slid to the floor and start bawling. Papers surround me with Zach's name on them. I started crying harder and throw my phone across the room at my door. Abby opens the door after my phone hits the door. She looks at room than at me but doesn't say anything. She walks away without saying anything.

I get up and throw clothes in a bag. I knew I wanted to leave this world and I wanted to leave it now. Once I'm all packed I met up with Abby at the front door. "Ready" I ask. "Ready" she says. We start walking to Damion's when my phone rings.

I look down to see it says Zach. I toss my phone in a trash and keep walking. I look over at Abby. She smiles at me but I can see she's hurting. I smile but look down at my feet. I know she knows I'm in pain as well.

Once we get to Damions, I take Artemis from Sky so she can go get ready. Raziel walks over to the door and stops right before the door. I can tell he's scared and Damion grabs his bag and turns toward the door.

Sky walks up next to him and smiles. Sky went first then Raziel, Damion Abby and I went last with Artemis still in my arms. I step through the door and hold Artemis against my chest. I blink agaisnt the bright light but it wasn't that bright. Suddenly sucked in a breath and looked around my home.

Every building was destroyed and I hear Abby whisper "mom." I look over to see a women about my mothers age stand there. I had never seen her before but she looked just like Abigail. I was totally in shock and to see home wasn't here, not any more.
