Mel was struggling to keep up with Sapnap as he was holding her hand and running towards the center of Manburg. "Sapnap slow down, we have plenty of time." She called out. Sapnap looked back at her and giggled, "Once we get there is when I'll stop running." He responded. Mel couldn't help but smile and continue to be dragged along by the boy. Once they were in the middle of Manburg Sapnap quickly spun around and pulled Mel into a hug, spinning her round and round as they both laughed. Once he set her down he spoke up, "Alright so today us and a few others are getting together to have a fun karaoke night! How does that sound?" He asked her. Mel smiled, "Sounds like a lot of fun!" she replied. Sapnap once again giggled and grabbed her hand, leading her just a little further to this area that had a stage and some seats. Mel took a look around and saw Karl, Eret, and Quackity all sitting in the seats talking. Once closer Sapnap called out, "Hey guys! We are here now!" He said and let go of Mel's hand in order to greet the others. Eret was the first to greet Mel while Sapnap talked with Karl and Quackity, "Hey Mel, ready for this epic sing off?" He asked her. Mel sighed, "Yea I'm super excited, though I do think some glass will be broken by the end of tonight." She joked. Eret laughed, "It wouldn't be a party if it didn't happen." He replied with a small smile. Mel returned the smile when the three other boys joined them. After everyone greeted one another it was time to get started. Everyone started to have fun and sing a bunch of songs whether it was solo or all together. Soon it was early morning and the group was beat. "Sapnap, let's go back to your house. I'm insanely tired and my house is too far away." Mel spoke up. Sapnap quickly stopped singing and got off the stage. "Alright, let's say bye then we can get going." He responded. Once the goodbyes were said Sapnap gave Mel a piggyback ride all the way to his house. When they arrived at his house the girl had fallen asleep, causing Sapnap to quietly chuckle and lay her down on his bed. After making sure she was comfortable he grabbed a pillow and blanket and went to go sleep on the couch.

Time skip: early in the morning

The sound of in-game chat going off a whole bunch was what caused Mel to wake up. Look at the chat she saw Tommy was messaging her a lot. He was asking her if they could meet up for a professional meeting between the OSS and Pogtopia. Mel quickly whispered to Eret and Tubbo, +Hey Tommy wants to have that meeting with us today, are you in?+ A few moments later both boys responded, Tubbo said he was already with Pogtopia while Eret said yes and that he would pick her up from Sapnap's place. Mel smiled and got up, heading to the kitchen area. Once out there she noticed Sapnap still asleep on the couch, so she quickly left a note telling him that she had a meeting to attend to so that the poor boy wouldn't worry about where she went when he woke up. Soon Eret arrived and the two of them made their way to Pogtopia, having pleasant conversations along the way. About an hour later they had arrived at the hideout and made their way down into the ravine where everyone else was. "Wow this place looks a lot more decorated and fleshed out then when I was last here. Impressive." Mel said aloud as she was nearing the place of her very first death. Right as she walked over the spot where Technoblade had killed her she shuddered but didn't say anything. Eret and herself finally saw the others and swiftly walked over to them. "Ah, Eret! Mel! Glad you could make it!" Tubbo greeted them. "Good to be here, I'm just glad that Pogtopia has reconsidered our help." Eret replied and went to stand next to Tubbo. "Well, it's more like Tommy has reconsidered and I just happen to know how desperately in need of help we are." Wilbur grumbled. "Either way we are glad that you reconsidered the offer. I would be glad to offer my expert help and desperately needed assistance." Mel said as she stood in front of Wilbur, both glaring at each other. Tubbo noticed the tension and decided it was time to start discussing the terms of the alliance. About an hour later the term and conditions had been fully agreed upon and the O.S.S. were on their way out when Technoblade arrived at the entrance of Pogtopia. "Oh is the meeting still going on?" He questioned. Mel smiled and approached him, "Nope, just ended as a matter of fact. No need to worry about talking deals." Techno let out a breath of relief then spoke up, "Hey, do you uh, wanna maybe, uh, spend the day with me?" He asked with a slight nervous tone in his voice. Mel took a moment to think about what she had going on before replying, "I will agree to spend the day with you on one condition, at some point we have to go to the nether and kill some blazes for potion making." Techno gave a small chuckle then agreed to take her to the nether later. So with their day together official Mel said goodbye to Tubbo and Eret and headed off with Technoblade. The two of them walked side by side and conversed about random things till Techno asked about how her hangout with Sapnap went. "Well it was pretty fun, he took me to go have a karaoke party with some of his friends. It was nice, though at some point I must have fallen asleep because I woke up this morning at his house." Mel finished her story and could feel the negative energy rolling off Techno. "You good?" She questioned him. With a long sigh he nodded his head, but didn't say a word.

Time skip: them in the nether fortress

Mel took notice that ever since she told Techno about the party from last night he seemed off. It was especially noticeable with them being at the fortress, he was killing every mob in sight without any hesitation. Eventually they got to the spawners and got plenty of blaze rods to last a while and were making their way back to the portal when Mel decided she had had enough of the tense silence. "Alright, tell me what's up with you. You've been acting off ever since I told you about the party." She said stepping in front of Technoblade to get him to stop moving. He looked at her then let out yet another sigh, "Sorry I guess I realized how much more fun you had doing karaoke with Sapnap than running around doing chores with me and the thought must have put me in a bad mood." Mel offered a sympathetic smile then hugged the taller male, "Idiot. I would choose doing chores with you over a dumb karaoke any day." She laughed a little as Techno relaxed into the hug. A few moments later the two split from the hug and left the nether with a calm and nice atmosphere surrounding them. "Where should we go now?" Mel asked. "I could always show you my secret base I guess." Techno replied nonchalantly. Mel gasped and got excited, "You have a secret base, that's so cool! Of course I want to see it!" The girl responded. "Fine, but only if you show me where your house is in return." Techno tried to persuade. Mel thought about it and thought about how much she trusted Technoblade. "Alright, but you have to keep your eyes closed the entire way there." She spoke up after a bit. "Sounds like a deal to me." Techno shrugged. Soon the two of them found their way back to Pogtopia to put away the goods from the nether and start heading towards Techno's base. "Um Techno, I hate to be that person but this is just a lake." Mel said when the two of them had supposedly arrived at this secret base. "Yea, it's a secret base not an out in the open base." Techno shot back in a joking manner. Mel watched as the male walked out into the water then suddenly disappeared from sight under the water. Mel gasped, "Dave!" she yelled as she lunged into the water in an attempt to save him from whatever had happened, only to quickly find herself being pulled under as well when she reached the spot Techno disappeared from. Suddenly the girl found herself in an underground base with a cornered Technoblade standing in front of her. "Are you ok? You only use my real name when you are in great distress." He asked worriedly while looking over her for any signs of injury. Once Mel realized what happened she grew embarrassed and tried to get out of Techno's grasp. "I'm fine. . . . I just got worried about you." Techno realized what Mel meant and chuckled, "Did you think someone snuck up on me?" He questioned. Only becoming more embarrassed Mel shot back a response, "Oh hush, it happens to even the best sometimes pig boy." Technoblade raised an eyebrow, "Pig boy? That's a new one." He said, followed by another chuckle. "Just show me around your dumb base." Mel grumbled. "Alright, welcome to what I like to call The Vault!" Techno said with a proud tone. "But this isn't even the best part, follow me!" He followed up. Soon the male led the girl to the actual vault, filled with tons of items. Mel looked around and through chests, absolutely baffled. "How long did this take you? It's insane!" She praised. Techno only smirked, "This is a few weeks worth maybe, but we aren't done yet. Still need to get lots of netherite for armor and maybe weapons." Mel paused, "Wait you said we, what do you mean by we? Is someone helping you?" Now it was Techno's turn to be embarrassed, "I-I was referring to the voices, sorry. It's weird. I know." Mel sighed, "You aren't weird, don't put yourself down like that." Both of them stood, staring into one another's eyes for what seemed like an eternity. One completely oblivious and one longing for more. Soon the moment was broken when the sound of a zombie pigman grabbed Mel's attention. She gasped, "No way! You have a zombie pigman, that's so cool! Where is it?" She asked, turning away from the pig boy. Techno also turned to face away from the human girl before he spoke, "Yea it's back up the ladder, by the furnaces, and it's a Halloween one too." Mel grew even more excited and rushed back up the ladder to try and find the pigman, Techno following not too far behind her. Once she spotted the unsuspecting creature she gasped and got really close to the glass separating her and the creature. "Oh my gosh, look at it's cute little jack-o-lantern on its head and its beautiful gold sword." Mel stood there gushing over the normal and plain pigman while Technoblade stood behind her being unamused. "Yea my butler is great, I know, only the best can work for the best." Techno siad, deciding to brag a little over his mob. Mel turned to look at Techno, "Sorry I just love pigmen, they have always been so fascinating to me." She spoke with a shy voice, showing how embarrassed she was with how she had reacted. Techno looked to the side in order to avoid letting Mel spot the small blush that dawned itself across his face and offered a small chuckle. "It's fine, I also find them quite comforting to be around since I am distantly related to them. " He responded. "Whoa! Really? That's so cool!" Mel exclaimed, turning to give all of her attention to Technoblade.
