Before we began, I would like to dedicate this chapter to a friend named Celeste. She was so ecstatic to hear about my book and was eager to read. I just wanted to say thank you to her and everyone else that reads this story!
(Okay, this is the chapter after revision. So if you had been reading this, please re-read as I upload the revisions.)
When his settings finally set in, he was outside a new home. It wasn't small but it wasn't huge. It hit the right medium of homey and space. He was anxious but he tried not to let his thoughts get the best of him as he continued to approach the house. He could hear some sort of bustling commotion coming from within the house. He tried not to pay it too much attention but he couldn't fight the thoughts within his head. He was right at the door and didn't even notice.
Molly had seen the boy approaching the door and called everyone down to meet him first thing. She tried her best to make sure everyone was home but Charlie and Annabelle were in Romania working at a dragon preserve and Percy Weasley was still at the ministry fulfilling his internship and Bill was off in Egypt working from the goblin ran bank of Gringotts . Once the boy had fully got to the door, she snatched the door open and looked at the boy. He stood there as though in some type of trance. She called his name but it didn't seem to work so she snapped her fingers in his face which snapped him out of it.
"Hm? " Percy mumbled before looking around his surroundings to realize he was in England and that these must be the Weasleys.
He stuck his hand out and introduced himself, "I'm Perseus Jackson. I prefer Percy though."
However instead of a handshake, he received a firm hug filled with love that only a mother's hug could give. It was nice though, his mom had passed away a while ago, caught up in the aftermath of the titan war.
When she released him, she began her own introduction.
"I'm Molly and this is my husband Authur." She introduced, while pointing at the man standing horizontal for her. When she stepped back, he saw 6 kids but 2 didn't look anything like the other 4 in the room.
"Go on! Introduce yourselves."
A girl with fiery red ginger hair with warm honey brown eyes started first. "I'm Ginny. I'm 15 and going into my 4th year at Hogwarts. Youngest Weasley. My birthday was a week ago. I play quidditch, I'm a chaser."
Next in line, "I'm Ronald but call me Ron. I'm 15 and I'm going into my fifth year at Hogwarts. 2nd youngest Weasley. These two are my best friends." pointing at the two that looked nothing like the rest.
In front of him, stood a girl and a boy. The girl stepped forward introducing herself. "I'm Hermione Granger. Fifth year Gryffindor. 15, I turn 16 in September. That's Harry, he's going through something right now but I promise he's usually more social."
Percy's line of view fell on the boy that identified as Harry. He wore an expression and weariness that he knew all too well. One of grief and emptiness. It was painful to see someone wear that look, he looked to be no more than 15. However, he made a mental note not to treat Harry any differently from anyone else in the house or at school. He knew from personal experience, being treated differently because of something only made you feel worse about it than you already did.
The last two people seemed to be caught up in a sort of conversation because they failed to introduce themselves with the others. Or they did until Ginny brought her hand upside the back of their heads. Their heads immediately snapped up to see the stranger standing there.
