SHE LOVED HIM, at this point it was an undeniable fact. Her world revolved around him, he was the weight that held her to the ground; Her center in this uncertain universe.

That's why she didn't need to think, in her heart she already knew the answer. Good or bad, she trusted him.

"Yes, I'll marry you."

It was only hours later, she came to realize the gravity of her choice.

***

Unlike their former hideout outside this eccentric and lavish building were empty rolling hills. In the far distance, on the horizon were towering mountains, even from this distance (y/n) could see the untouched peaks of rock and fresh snow.

It was late in the evening, the air was moist but, the atmosphere stale. Siting below the rising stars, long forgotten dreams and wishes rose from the heart of the confused girl.

She had said yes, and being with him for the rest of her life made her content. Yet... why did she feel this way?

Bakugo... Aizawa... Izuku... Uraraka...

The life she left behind, what it meant for her and the people around her.

Once I marry him, I'll no longer be just a "hostage". I'll finally cut all the ties of my former life, all the people who made me and helped me move forward... I'll be leaving them behind indefinitely.

Questions rose within her, was it worth it? If I could do it again, would I?

Staring into the alluring abyss, (y/n) swore she could hear the stars scraping against the sky.*

Laying alone, she wished for clarity.

The sound of grass and twigs shifting behind her led the girl to turn to follow the noise.

"This always seems to happen"

The ghost of his cigarette smoke drifted into the night sky, his usual husky voice silent.

(Y/n) traced her eyes on his relaxed figure, in the moon light he was hypnotizing.

"Why are you here Dabi?"

He lowered his icy gaze to her resting form, "Why are you here princess?"

Turning back to the sky, she closed her (e/c) eyes.

"Good question... I guess I'm just confused."

Moving to sit next to her, the dewy grass below him made the fire user wince. Regardless, he stayed.

"Why are you confused?"

It was only a whisper, yet she could see his meaningful intentions through all his misdirections.

Rolling on her side to face the laying man next to her, (y/n) sighed deeply.

"Tomura and I are getting married."
