SHOTA FELT HIS HEART stop when his eyes landed on (y/n). He stood in shock at the sight of her running figure, the girl he used to know.
One week later
When (y/n) awoke she had throbbing headache. She thought it was unusual yet, she couldn't find anything to compare it to. Adjusting to the bright lights and odd chemical smells, the situation felt vaguely familiar.
Moving to sit up, hot searing pain shot through her chest. Immediately collapsing back into bed, she reached toward her upper torso to find 2 inch thick bandages wrapped around her breasts. The setting of collapseable furniture and faint aroma of cleaning supplies made (y/n) uneasy. This in addition to her unknown wounds, the girl had difficulty remembering anything of her situation.
Her archaic animal instincts of fight or flight told her to run. No knowledge of her whereabouts or the causes of her injury made (y/n) feel like an animal trapped in a cage; alone and afraid.
In her struggle to escape the bed she found herself ridden in, sounds of her rifling altered a nurse to her awakening.
"Doctors she's awake! Come quick!"
The sliding door opened to reveal a tall man in a lab coat and several women in short dresses. Their expressions of awe and slight concern made the girl even more wary.
"Who are you? Where am I?"
"It's okay, you don't need to worry you're safe. You're in the Senjuku Ward Hospital, can you tell me what the last thing you remember?"
The man was very up close and personal, shining a bright light in her eyes and pulling her hospital-grade paper dress back to feel her bandages.
"Stop that! I don't remember anything, why am I here?!"
Her response confirmed the doctors fears, she was unstable; although it was not due to torture or malnutrition but, due to the injury to the hippocampus and the cerebellum regions of her brain. The blunt force of the debris caused swelling and bruising throughout her brain, the young hero was unlikely to fully recover as their tests suggested.
"Nurse call Nezu, we need to discuss her condition."
Panic rose through the erratic heart beat of the girl, scouring her memories she came up short every time.
What is happening to me?

The conference room was tense, yes their goal to capture the League of Villains or otherwise known as the "Paranormal Liberation Front" was a success but, at what cost? Key members were killed or captured such as Spinner and Compress but, in the final moments of the raid Tomura Shigiraki slipped away unharmed.
Was it even worth it?
Now that news broke of the pro-hero's failure to safely rescue their once prized student, the situation immediately went into free fall. The credibility was on the line for UA, the public's faith in their institution was crumbling.
Is this what you wanted Shigiraki? Not only will (y/n) never be able to be a hero again but, society's pillars crumbling to your will. In the end, it all worked out for you.
