Chapter 9

A few days and jobs later, she brought Nashi with them because she missed her too much and didn't want to be away from her. It wasn't anything too major . They just had to take down this group of other wizards who were causing trouble for people. 

Not a guild but this group had to be taken down none the less. Once they got in the thick of fighting, Lucy started to regret bringing their baby with them. This group wasn't supposed to be this hard. It was supposed to be a simple take down and that's it. " The ad should have been specific" Lucy thought to herself as she tried to keep herself and Nashi out of harms way . 

" Lucy Move!!" Natsu called out to her. She ran as soon as he said something. " Fire Dragon Roar!!" he attacked but this attack did nothing to them. " What the hell are they using!, that's my most powerful attack" He thought angrily as the enemy was still standing there.

Erza and Gray had gone through most of their attacks and still nothing touched them . " Ohh. I see" mysterious voice rang out. Erza and the group looked to see where the voice had come from. A woman had come out of nowhere. 

A woman in a red top and skirt approached the group as they were fighting. " What do you want us to do boss?" one of her group asked. " I want the little one" she sneered. " Little one??" Gray thought then it hit him.

 " Lucy, Natsu!, she's after the baby" he shouted to the two of them. Natsu's eyes widened as he got a mad look on his face " NO way in hell" Lucy shielded her arms over Nashi. " You don't have a choice" she said cocky as she zoomed out of nowhere to where Natsu was and launched across the ground far away from the others.

He landed smack against a rock which knocked the wind right out of him causing him to collapse." Natsu!!!" She yelled out of fear turning her head back to see her dragon slayer hurt. Gray and Erza weren't waiting around , they ran straight at her ready to attack with all they had left.

 " Hahahaha no, no you aren't getting so lucky" She laughed manically as she kicked Erza square in the stomach hard enough to make her clutch it and fall down in pain. She had to try a little harder with Gray as he was not going to go down easy. He landed a couple punches, but she was fast enough as he was about to land a punch to her face ,she caught it and twisted his arm back making him yell in pain. 

 Lucy was still trying to make it to Natsu , Happy was next to him trying desperately to wake him up. The woman threw Gray in a heap next to Erza who was still struggling. " .Wwwhoo... is..gahhh. This woman!" Erza demanded.  "I wish I knew" grimaced Gray who clutched his arm. " Did she break my arm!?" he asked himself. Lucy was panicked for her life and Nashi's. That woman had taken down Erza and Gray without breaking a sweat which was not something that happened often.

"It's your turn" said the woman in a tone that chilled Lucy to the bone. 

Natsu finally regained consciousness as his instincts kicked in and launched himself at the woman. " YOU WONT LAY A HAND ON MY CHILD !!!" but as he approached her, she pulled a weapon and fired right at him. Natsu couldn't dodge it. 

 A blast went through him leaving a clear hole in his abdomen. Lucy didn't have a chance to scream as the sight of her husband falling to the ground in front of the woman made Happy and Lucy both frozen in place. The woman was at Lucy's front before she had a chance to blink. Just like that, she snatched Nashi out of Lucy's arms and threw her over to where Natsu was. " We can go now" she told her comrades who were waiting for an order. Lucy watched them vanish with her pride and joy. "See you later" the woman remarked and laughed before they disappeared.

" MY BAAAAAAABY!!!!!!" she screamed. ," NATSUUUUU!!" He was in bad state.

 Bleeding all over , she tried to stop the bleeding but her hands were just getting covered in them. Erza and Gray got off the ground and ran to where Lucy and Happy were crying. " Happy , get Natsu out here!, NOW!" Erza commanded Happy snapping him out of his emotional state. She didn't mean to yell at him, but she knew if she didn't that there was no way he would be in a state to carry him. The blue cat scooped Natsu up and started flying back to Fiore.
