heartsore [spencer reid x reader]

two-first day

"agent y/l/n i need you to explain what led to what happened to dr.spencer reid."

**two years before**

       you were rummaging through your closet trying to find an outfit for the day. it was your first day at the bau. you were going to be a profiler for the fbi. this is what you had been working for since freshman year of highschool when you took a sociology elective. it had been your dream.
       after a while you finally decided on mom jeans and a purple blouse. purple is your favorite color.  you threw on your clothes and then moved to the bathroom to do your hair. you took your hair out of its high ponytail and let your y/h/c hair sit on your shoulders. you then decided you were just going to put on mascara and a small amount of blush. when you were finished, you headed to your kitchen. you started making yourself some coffee as you checked the time reading 6:50. you didn't need to be into work until 7:30, and you lived about fifteen minutes away from the bureau. you ended up leaving at 7:05 for you would arrive ten minutes early.

       when you arrived at the bureau you entered through the large glass doors and headed to the empty elevators. the doors were almost completely closed when you heard someone's voice.
     "hold the elevator please!" an unfamiliar voice yelled
     you stuck your hand in between the doors and saw a women with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes enter. she stood next to you and reached for the elevator button but then stopped when she saw it was already clicked.
     "oh, are you the new agent? i'm emily prentiss its great to finally meet you!" she said with a huge smile on her face.
     her smile was contagious and you replied, "hi emily i'm y/n y/l/n its nice to meet you!" as you shook hands you could tell that you two were going to be really good friends.

       you and emily left the elevators and she said,
     "here let me introduce you to the rest of the team!"
       as you guys walked through the doors all eyes landed on you two, but they all quickly turned back to the files and computers on their desks. you looked around the room and saw a blonde girl with glasses walking towards you two. she was very.. um... colorful.

     "y/n this is penelope garcia our technical analyist."
      they both had huge smiles on their faces.
      "and penelope this is our new agent y/n y/l/n."

       "hi," you said with a smile on your face. when you stuck your hand out to shake hers, she pulled you into a hug.

       "it is so nice to meet you y/n!" she said.

        "it's nice to meet you too," you laughed as you spoke. you looked to your left and you saw another blonde approach.

         "who's this?" she asked with a small smile on her face.

         "ooh ooh i'll tell her," garcia said excitedly. "this is the new agent y/n y/ln."

          "it's a pleasure to meet you, i'm jennifer, but you can call me jj," she said.

           "it's nice to meet you jj." you said.

       emily, penelope, and jj then introduced you to the rest of the team. everyone was suprisingly excited to see you. your boss, aaron hotchner, seemed..angry? upset? he gave you a small smile when you first spoke, but it didn't seem like he smiled much. you met david rossi, who seemed very nice, and he also seemed funny. you then met derek morgan. when you two first met he called you "pretty girl" and you could tell you two would also be very good friends. you thought you would be very good friends with everyone, that was, until you met reid. when you met reid, it went something like this.

     "spence this is our new agent y/n y/ln." jj said to him. his head was buried in a book.

     "its nice to meet you!" you said with a smile on your face.

      he looked up for not even a second and nodded. he then said, "hello," without even a smile, and then continued to read his book. you were, confused, to say the least. everyone else was so nice, welcoming, but he was just.. he didnt even say two words to you.

       as you guys walked away jj turned to you and said,  "im sorry hes not usually like that. i dont know whats up with him."

       "no its fine," you faked a smlie as you spoke. you were a little hurt but you understood not everyone is going to like you.

      your desk was right next to emilys and across from reids. you and emily talked throughout the day and you and morgan made jokes with one another but other than that, your first day consisted of paper work and looking through case files, but you didnt mind.

       on your second day reid finally spoke to you, but not much.  you walked into the break room very much in need of coffee. as you walked into the room, you saw a tall figure standing in front of the coffee pot. reid.

     "hey," you said quietly. startled, he jerked around with his coffee spilling out of his mug. it spilled all over the floor and his pants.

     "oh my god im so sorry" you said as you rushed over to him. you started to grab a paper towel to clean up.

      "dont"

       "sorry?" you asked.

       " i said dont." he nudged you over not hard, and got the paper towel himself.

        "im sorry i was just trying to-"

         "i can do it myself and you need to stop apologizing!" he yelled. "just leave me alone. dont talk to me." he obviously had a problem with you, you just didnt know what.
      
           it was paperwork and casefiles for the next week, and no case. you have gotten especially close with em, jj, penelope, and morgan. you never really got the chance to talk to rossi or hotch, and apparently reid doesn't want you speaking to him. 

     you were looking through a case file that went cold a few years ago when you heard hotch's voice from the catwalk,

      "we have a case."

hiiii! i know spencer wasnt in this chapter much, but im going to try to get him in the chapters more as much as i can!
please comment on this and tell me what you think about the first two chapters!
