"fine i'll just take her home," reid sighed.

you and reid said your goodbyes to the remainder of the team, walked out into the drizzling rain to head to his car. you didn't even realize reid could drive until now. he'd always talk to the rest of the team about taking the metro. you don't know why he never drove. he had a very nice car, a black maserati.

     he drove for what felt like hours. no words were spoken between the two of you. in your head you kept thinking about why he hated you. you never did anything to him. from the moment you entered the bau you instantly found him attractive but he hardly spoke to you. wait. you found him attractive?

     "your cute you know," you giggled.

     shit. you didn't mean to say that. but considering you were very drunk, you didn't have much control of the things that came out of your mouth.

"excuse me?"

you were drunk so, what the hell. maybe you'd get lucky and forget this conversation by the morning.

"your cute. god for someone with an iq of what? 180?"

"187"

    "ahh yes 187. for someone with an iq of 187 you can't even understand a simple sentence."

     "your drunk," he stated.

     "no.. i'm lightly buzzed. your very attractive," you started giggling again. you were anything but lightly buzzed.

     reid continued to look at the road. you could see the gears turning in his head. when you realized he wasn't going to answer you, you continued.

     "why do you hate me so much?" you asked in a confused tone

     "y/n i don't hate you."

     "liar. you even told me. on that one case in um.. i don't remember where but you told me."

     "i said i dislike you. i never said i hated you."

      "same thing"

      "no it's not the same thing."

      "fine then why do you dislike me dr.reid," you giggled.
    
     for the first time throughout the car ride he finally looked at you. only for a moment, but then he turned his head back to the road, jaw clenched.

     "do i need a reason to dislike you?"

     "uhm yes" you laughed

      he continued to stare at the road.

      "you know if really hurts my feelings when your rude. you hardly even spoke to me the first day we met. you still hardly speak to me."

     he turned to you again. his hazel eyes meeting yours. god you could stare into his eyes all day. okay off topic. he stared at you for a while. longer than before, before turning back to the road once again. he sighed before speaking again.

     "i'm sorry, i don't mean to be rude."

     "then why are you?" you asked.

     "i don't know," he said.

     you turned to look at him, seeing him still staring at the road.

      "can you at least try to be a little nicer to me? at least at work? we don't have to be friends, that's fine, but-"

     "yes if that's what you want y/n," he said with a. smug look on his face.

     "what's that look for?"

    "nothing. we're here."

    you looked out your window and saw you arrived at your apartment. it was no longer drizzling, but pouring.

    reid got out of the car, and quickly opened your door for you, holding his hand out. you shyly took it and you both ran to the lobby clicking button 3 in the elevator. you both walked to your apartment door. you rummaged through your purse until you found your keys. you unlocked the door and slowly opened it, realizing you haven't had people in or even near your apartment in months. you would've cared a lot more if you were sober, however you just continued to walk, reid following closely behind.

     "do you need anything before i go?" he asked.

     "nope" you said popping the p as you plopped down onto your bed. you kicked off your shoes and slipped under the covers without even bothering to get changed. you then flicked the light off.

    reid stood their for a moment, before turning around and walking out of the room. you heard him say "goodnight y/n" but before you could hear if he said anything else, you were lulled to sleep. you were going to have a bad hangover in the morning.

hi guys! it's been like almost a month since i've uploaded but i've already been having writers block this early in the story. i'm very lazy lol. but i hope this chapter wasn't too bad. i never mentioned my name but it's jacqueline :)
