Tanner's POV

Why the fuck did I agree to this? I looked around the cleaned out guest bedroom, all ready for my sister to move in. Maybe because she and momma were about to kill each other, my brain reminded me. My sister, Anna-Lee, and my mother fight worse than cats and dogs. My mother tried raising her to be the perfect southern lady but Anna-Lee had other ideas. She was a whiskey drinking, truck loving, ink covered, no fucks given country girl. She basically became the complete opposite of what my mother wanted her to be, and my mother is still trying to get her to change, but Anna-Lee was stubborn as hell.

I loved my sister the way she is, but I shouldn't have agreed. She loves trouble and my life is full of it. It came with being part of an MC. I've been part of Hell Bound Riders MC for almost eight years. I saw something I wasn't supposed to, and instead of them killing me, they said I join or die. So I joined and I never once regretted it. Despite scaring the shit out of me at first I grew to love being apart of the MC. They were family to me.

"Yo Ranger," I heard Crusher call out from downstairs. I grabbed the bag of trash and took it downstairs, "What's up?" He raised an eyebrow, "You know how to clean?" I rolled my eyes, "My sister is movin' in so I had to clean out the guest room." "You have a sister," he asked slightly wide eyed. I nodded, "Yeah."

"Why have we never heard about her before," he asked. "How many fucked Ray's sister once you guys met her," I asked him. He thought for a second before nodding, "You got a point. She was good in the sack." His smirk had me shaking my head. "So why is she moving in?"

"Her and my mom keep fighting. Recently my mom has been tryin' to set her up with guys my mother approves of, and my sister might kill her for it," I said with a sigh. "How old is she," he asked. "Twenty eight," I answered. "Why the hell is she living with your mom," he asked. "Because rent isn't easy to afford on one person's salary back home. Hell, it's that way everywhere. You and I make more than enough but that's thanks to the club." She also gets her military retirement benefits, but she's been having that go into a savings account that she uses for emergencies and for when she actually retires.

He nodded, "You've got a point there. So with her being here, does that change poker night?" I shook my head, "No. She'll deal with it. Just no more crashing at my place unless you don't mind the couch or floor." There were times my living room and guest room would have several bikers stoned and drunk off their asses. We usually did it at the compound but it happens here every now and again. I didn't live in the compound for appearances to my parents who didn't know I was in an MC. Anna-Lee knew but that's my sister who I told everything and doesn't say a word to our parents. Not like dad would care but my mom would have, not just a cow, but a whole farm, if she found out.

"So when does she get here," he asked me. "Sometime tomorrow. She's drivin'," I said and he nodded. I had CashApped her some money to ensure she had gas and could stop at a hotel tonight so she wasn't driving all day and night. I knew she set out at sunrise this morning, since she had sent me a text when she did. He nodded, "You gonna bring her around?" I shook my head, not bothering to reply. It was truly going to be interesting with her here, that's for damn sure.

Anna-Lee's POV

I pulled up to my brother's house and saw his truck and bike, and a couple of other bikes in the drive. I parked by the curb and got out. I grabbed my bag from the back seat and began making my way to the front door. I didn't bother with knocking, and just went in. Tanner and a few of his buddies were playing poker at the table. I got a few whistles from the guys at the table. "Damn Ranger, you didn't say she was hot," one of them said. "That's my fuckin' sister. Of course I don't think she's fuckin' hot. What she needs to do is put on an actual fuckin' shirt," Tanner said to me. I looked down at the cropped tank top I was wearing. "You don't need to change baby girl," one said. "Don't listen to him."
