When I came to realize that Reaper and Tanner were missing I pulled up the trackers I had attached to their bikes and went to the coordinates. Their bikes were outside of an abandoned warehouse, no other cars to be seen. I grabbed my pistol out of my glove box before stepping out of the truck. I made my way slowly to the door, looking for signs of anyone possibly trying to hide. I got to the door and saw it was cracked open. I peeked inside and my heart immediately fell. Everyone was on the ground, laying in pools of their own blood. I rushed in, not giving a shit if there was still someone inside. The closest to me was Tanner. I checked him for a pulse and found one that was very faint. Next I checked Reaper. It was there, barely. I then checked the others and found them in much of the same condition. I quickly called for medics to come and get them. Unfortunately officers kept me at the scene instead of letting me go with my brother or fiancé.

"Do you have any idea why they would be here," one of them asked me. "Their warehouses have been getting broken into lately by others hoping to find containers of Dust," I confessed to him. I didn't know if this was one of their warehouses though. "My fiancé told me he was only going to be gone for a couple of hours and when he and my brother didn't come back I checked the trackers that's on their bikes and found their location to be here. That's when I found them."

"So you thought it would be a safe idea to just come to a place where bikers were dealing," the second officer asked, clearing guessing my sanity. "Given the wars that are going on, I don't trust anyone else to check things out," I told them. "I'm a big girl, I can handle myself."

The officers looked at me, clearly doubting me. I wasn't going to give them a history lesson when it comes to what I can and can't handle. "I don't know why they were here or what was stored in here. I also can't give you a list of suspects because I'm just an old lady, I don't know none of that stuff. Get in touch with one of the others. Now am I free to go? I might have to make some pretty hard decisions tonight regarding the health of my loved ones, and the hospital might like me there as soon as possible to do that."

They let me go and I sped the entire way to the hospital. I got there and found they were all in the OR and I had no choice but to wait.

I sat in the waiting room, elbows on my knees, spinning my engagement ring on my finger. Crusher, Wrath, Brick, and Motorhead were then there. "How were they when you found them," Motorhead asked as he sat on my right. "Barely alive," I answered softly. "You should've told someone you were going out to look for them," Wrath told me from my left. I shrugged, "I didn't want to sound paranoid." "Given what's going on with this dust nonsense, it's not being paranoid, it's being cautious," Brick said from where he was leaning against the wall. "What did the cops say," Crusher asked me.

I told them how my talk with them went. "We'll handle them no problem," Motorhead said with a shrug. "Currently our President, VP, and Third are all on the verge of dying. If word gets out, then we could face major problems. Doesn't help some of our best men are right beside those in charge. Things could get ugly, and fast."

"Who were they supposed to be doing a job for," Brick asked them. "Supposed to have been Neil Zep," Wrath answered. "He had hired us for a special order, he was supposed to have picked it up today." "So it's possible he shot them because he didn't feel like paying," Brick suggested. "Or because some heard about having a special order and thought it meant dust so they attacked them and took it," I said using quotations around special order.

"Those are both could theories," Crusher said. "We won't know until we check the cameras and only three people have the login for them." I ran a hand through my hair with a sigh. I needed a cigarette but I refused to get out of the chair.

"Did you call your parents," Wrath asked me. I shook my head, "It's best I not worry them. If they pass then I'll call them, but until then, I'll let them enjoy whatever small town thing they're doin' tonight."

After that we fell into silence. We waited for what felt like forever. When a doctor came out, I jumped to my feet. "They were all torn up by the bullets pretty badly. Thankfully their wounds clotted in time for their bleeding to slow down, to help with the internal bleeding. They'll all be on bed rest for a while, but they'll make a full recovery."

Thank god, I thought. "A nurse will be by soon to tell you their room numbers." I nodded, "Thank you doctor."

I then sat and put my head in my hands, my hands shaking. "I'll go make the calls," Crusher said as he stood from his seat. Brick released a sigh of relief, "Thank fucking god." "Now that we know they're gonna make it, the real work begins," Motorhead declared.

Reaper's POV

What the hell was that fucking sound? It was going to drive me batshit crazy if no one turned it the hell off. I cracked open an eye. Sunlight was filling the room, causing me to squeeze my eyes shut again. "You awake Reaper," I heard Motorhead ask me. "The hell am I," I muttered in a whisper as I tried to adjust my eyes to the light. "The hospital," Motorhead answered. I opened my eyes fully and saw him standing beside my bed. "Where's Anna-Lee," I asked him. He pointed and I turned my head. She was curled up in a chair sleeping, wearing one of my hoodies and my hat.

"We had to force her to go back to the compound to shower because her clothes were soaked in blood, but after that she's been up here ever since," he shared with me. "Blood," I asked him. He nodded, "She's the one who found all of you. She had put trackers on yours and Ranger's bikes." I knew about the tracker. She had asked if she could install it to give her a peace of mind. Give both of our pasts, I said yes. I was trying my best to keep her from having to use it though.

"Who did we lose," I asked him, not wanting the answer to that. "She got there just in time," he shared. "It was a fucking miracle we didn't lose anyone." I felt relief hit me. I looked back at her and knew by her position that she was going to be in need of a massage to get out the soreness. I owed that woman everything. "I'll let the nurse know you're awake," he said before leaving the room. The sound of the door to my room closing had Anna-Lee waking up.

She looked around the room before her eyes settled on me. She was then up and half way in my bed, her arms around me. "I was so scared I lost you," she said. "It takes more than a few bullets to take me," I whispered to her. When she pulled away, I saw tears streaming down her face. "I had never been so terrified, but when I saw you laying on that floor..." she said, her lip quivering. I cupper her face and wiped her tears away with my thumb. "I love you Lathom," she said, using my real name since it was just us. "I love you too."

When a nurse came in she moved away, leaving me without a kiss like I badly wanted. "I'm going to go see if Tanner's awake," she said to me and I nodded.

"You're very lucky," the doctor said when he came in. "You took two bullets to the chest and one to the shoulder. Your arm will be in a sling for a while and you're gonna have to take it easy but you should be fine in no time." The sooner I'm better, the sooner I can get back at the fuckers that put me here.
