Renji x Rukia (Ended)

Chapter 1

Renji POV

Ikkaku and I were walking around just enjoying the beautiful day when lieutenant Sasakibe called a lieutenants meeting. We went back with him to the meeting room. When we got there the others were already there. He stated that he needed 2 lieutenants to go to the world of the living. I agreed to it.

"Okay then it is all settled."

" Wait who is the other?"

"Oh yeah she already signed up before you got here."

"She?"

"Lieutenant Kuchiki."

" Yeah we can handle it."

Rukia came out from behind me. I jumped because I couldn't sense her there.

"Wait so you're going to be my partner?!"

" Why is that a problem?"

"No its fine just..."

"Just what? Is being around me make you nervous?"

"No. It just..."

"Would just finish or don't say anything at all! Got it!"

Rangiku interrupted.

"Okay okay. Let's just go."

I started walking away as Rukia followed. We went to the Senkaimon. They let us through and we went into the world of the living. We got our gigai back went around looking for the others.

"Hey Rukia do you even know why Chōjirō sent us here?"

"No actually. That could be a problem. Without proper instructions we may not be able to do our job."

"It doesn't matter it was his fault."

" Yeah I guess you're right. Oh hey look its Orihime!"

" Yeah it is huh? Oh and look who she's with."

We looked over to see her and Ichigo walking from school.

"Let's go tease them."

"Yeah."

I agreed.

We snuck up behind them then made a loud yelling noise frightening them both. It made Orihime jump like a cat into Ichigo's arms.

"Ha got ya."

"Hey when did you guys get back?"

Ichigo asked.

"Oh just now. We saw you and thought we could have some fun."

"Yeah well you nearly scared the life out of Orihime."

She was still holding on to him slightly crying.

" Why would you do that?"

She complained.

" It seemed to work to."

"Yeah well I'm going to take her home so see ya."

Ichigo turned fast and started fast walking away still holding her.

"Do you think?"

"Its possible let's find out."

Rukia yelled to Ichigo and made him stop.

"What?!"

"Don't go we just got here. Come back."

He came back.

"What?"

"Kiss Orihime."

" What? Why?"

"Because I told you. Haven't you been taught to listen to those older than you?"

Orihime's cheeks got red and he looked at her.

"Is it okay?"

"Yeah of course it not like we haven't already."

She immediately covered her mouth with her hands. They looked at us.

"See I was right."

Renji smirked.

"That's awesome you guys! Does anyone else know?"

"No of course not why do you think we were hiding it from you? Or at least trying."

" Sorry."

Orihime said blushing.

" No it wasn't your fault. It was theirs."

He looked at us.

"Sorry we just had to know."

"Hey Ichigo."

Orihime said.

"Yeah?"

"Would it be possible to have that kiss still?"

"Of course."

He swung her around behind his body so we couldn't see. They were like that for 5 seconds then went back around.

"It looks like you know what you're doing."

Renji remarked.

" Well I don't see you doing that to anyone. And not anyone in particular."

He nudged my arm and motioned to Rukia.

"What are you saying?!"

"Oh nothing at all. Well I was serious when I said I'm taking her home so see ya maybe tomorrow?"

"Yeah we'll be there."

He turned and continued taking her home.

"Isn't that cute?"

"Yeah. I've wished to be able to do that to someone some day."

"Really? Do you have anyone in mind?"

"Not really at this point but probably someone eventually."

We just stood there watching the world.
