Renji x Rukia (Ended)

Chapter 5

Rukia POV

At 2 am I was still awake. I couldn't sleep without Chappy. I rolled over and saw Renji holding Chappy in his arms. Then I noticed that his arms were pretty loosely placed around Chappy.

"I guess its worth a shot."

I crawled over to Renji and moved his arm just a little. I got really close to his body then slipped my way into his arms where Chappy was. I grabbed Chappy some and pulled her close to me.

"Its okay Chappy I'm here."

I said smiling and hugging Chappy tightly.

Kisuke POV

Before I went to bed I heard Renji and Rukia having a good time playing. I guess the new item I was working on works. It brings out the playful side of people. I slipped some of it into their lunches I made for them. Now that I know it works I can make it again and use it on others to make people more friendly. Maybe even myself.

Rukia POV

As I snuggled up with Chappy I felt Renji's arms get slightly tighter around me as he rolled over taking me with him. I was on my side as he was. It felt good being in his arms. He was so warm. I flipped my body around and put my arms around him as much as I could. His body was way bigger than mine so I couldn't hug him fully. After a minute I fell asleep. Once I woke up and saw Renji I almost jumped for a second then remembered what happened. I squeezed him a little and put my face into his chest. I laid there listening to his heart beat. Then I heard him yawn awake.

"(Yawn) Wow I guess Chappy does make you sleep better Rukia."

He rolled over not realizing I was in his arms. He looked at my mat confused why I wasn't there.

"How blind are you?"

I poked his chin.

"Oh Rukia what are you doing there?"

"Well last night something came over me and I needed Chappy to sleep. So I crawled into your arms and slept with Chappy in your arms."

"Yeah I also felt weird last night. Why? We didn't do anything."

"Kisuke."

" I swear if he did something I'm going to kill him."

We got up and went to his room. He was already up talking to Tesai about shop materials and whatnot.

"Hey Kisuke."

"Oh hi you 2. Glad to see you're up."

"Why wouldn't we be?"

"To say the truth I tested an item on you both and wasn't sure of the side affects."

"I'll kill you if anything happens to us!" Renji yelled.

"Hey hey there's no need for violence. It'll be okay. Everything is fine. What you should be worried about is what you're going to do over the weekend."

"Oh yeah its the weekend already."

"Well you're lucky Kisuke, if we didn't have plans I would have killed you. No more tests."

"Okay I won't I promise."

"Good."

He started walking away as Renji started to walk outside. We went around walking through the city enjoying the veiw of the place. We just relaxed enjoying our free time when something caught our attention. We saw Keigo and Tatsuki holding hands talking as they walked down the street. We decided to talk to them.

"Hey Tatsuki, Keigo!"

They looked back at us and immediately stopped holding hands.

"Oh hi Ichigo's brother." Keigo said nervously.

"And Orihime's friend." Tatsuki said nervously.

" What were, what were you 2 doing just a second ago?" Renji asked trying to get a confession.

" Oh you mean this?" Keigo took Tatsuki's hand and raised it above their heads.

"Its uh... it from uh... its supposed to help the bonding of friends. Yeah that's it." He looked at Tatsuki for assurance.

" Yeah definitely helps the bonding between people. And not in any other way?"

They blushed and both sighed with defeat.

" Okay okay you caught us. Tatsuki and I have been dating for a week now. We didn't want to tell anyone about it just yet. We were going to. Please don't tell anyone. Not yet."

We both nodded and they smiled and continued holding hands walking.

"Man I feel like we're the relationship detectives. First Ichigo and Orihime now Tatsuki and Keigo? I feel good. I wonder who else we will figure out."

Renji said smiling.

"Yeah we should go back to the soul society and find more."

"Not just yet."

We heard a voice call and we turned around to see... cliffhanger.
