okay so the state i'm from is if you were born before Sep. 30 you are in kindergarten.
if you weren't you were in kinder the next year.
so if you were born in september 30th, 2002 you would be in kinder. if you were born after the 30th even if it's october 1st, 2002 you would be in the next year of kinder. so my mind is just all over the place rn... but let's say if you were all born in 2002 you get put in kindergarten:)

So uh yeah i fucked it up i totally forgot the story took place in 2016......
