Chapter 9: You have to care

At the plaza, K.O, his brothers, and Rad were getting burritos at the truck in the parking lot and they were enjoying their food. "Man, lunch is the kind of thing we need at work, you know?" Rad asked. "Yeah, something we need to satisfy our appetite when we get hungry." T.K.O said in agreement. The group were now walking back to the Bodega, and Rad looked at K.O as he said, "So K.O, what are your thoughts on that Dendy girl?" K.O blushed hard and said, "W-W-What?" "Well, you were feeling a little nervous when you are around her, and T.K.O says you even feel nervous around her in school." Rad said. K.O punched T.K.O on the top of his head and said, "Dang it T.K.O, I told you not to tell anyone." "I couldn't help it." T.K.O said as he rubbed the spot K.O punched him at. "I guess T.K.O still likes to tell people." P.K.O said. "Yeah, I think K.O has something for Dendy though." C.K.O said. K.O looked at C.K.O with a red face and said, "Stop it." The group entered the Bodega, and they saw Enid at the counter, reading a magazine with her feet on the counter. "Well, at least Enid isn't gonna tease me like you guys are." K.O said. A rumbling came outside, and the group looked outside and saw a limo tank coming into the Plaza, and jumping out was a teenage girl with a curvy figure, short blonde hair, and tanned skin, she is wearing red dress, purple knee socks, red high heels, and a red beret. "Everyone, Elodie from P.O.I.N.T has arrived." The girl said, and everyone in the Plaza gathered around her, asking for autographs, and the brothers looked excited too. "Wow, that's Elodie." C.K.O said with joy. K.O pulled out her POW Card and said, "She's from P.O.I.N.T Prep Academy, we want to go there one day." Enid looked really mad with everyone mentioning Elodie's name, and the brothers were noticing it. With Elodie, she was singing a few autographs, until another teenage came to her, this one was a boy with muscular body similar K.O and his brothers and a bit taller than them, dark skin, silver hair, and dark silver eyes, a dark blue long sleeve shirt with a black jacket suit over it, black pants, black boots. "Are you getting attention from the people in the city we visit again? I knew you charisma students are all talk." Elodie looked annoyed and said, "And I knew you strength students are full of yourselves." Elodie looked at the people and said, "Sorry everyone, P.O.I.N.T Prep duty calls." Elodie and the boy entered the Bodega, which she then smiled as she said, "Hello everyone, I hope we're not interrupting anything." "Oh no, we are on break so it's fine." Rad said. "Good." Elodie said, before she then said, "So, which one of you all is Kaio Kincaid?" Everyone was surprised at this, until K.O nervously rubbed the back of his head and said, "Ah, hi, my name is Kaio, but call me K.O." Elodie and the boy looked at K.O, and Elodie blushed when she saw him, she heard of him but never saw him, he looked so handsome and muscular and she said, "My, aren't you a handsome young man." Elodie walked up to K.O with a smile, and he blushed at how she was looking at him and how she admired him and she said, "Tell me cutie, why is such a darling like you working here?" The rest of K.O's brothers couldn't believe a famous hero like Elodie was hitting on their oldest brother, Rad was surprised his friend was attracting another girl, and Enid, well, she was pretty mad as she clinged her magazine hard. "Elodie, remember why we're here." The boy said. Elodie looked at him annoyed and thought, 'Typical Savage, always being serious.' Elodie then pulled out a letter and handed it to K.O, who read it with his brothers and couldn't believe what he read and said, "Are you serious?" "Yes, our head teachers heard from you about how you defeated a building size robot, and they are very impressed that you are Level 11, quite impressive for a teenager, not to mention, they even heard you are the champion of the Youth Battle Tournaments, five times." Elodie said. Rad and Enid felt surprised to hear that K.O is a champion of 5 Youth Battle Tournaments in a row, and felt more surprised it was he who won those tournaments from what they heard on the sports networks and not realizing it. "Wow, hard to believe that they heard that." K.O said. "HEY, WE WON THOSE TOURNAMENTS TOO, WHERE'S OUR SAY IN THIS?" T.K.O said. Elodie looked at T.K.O, C.K.O, and P.K.O, and K.O said, "They're my brothers." "Oh yeah, I forgot I heard you had siblings." Elodie said, before she looked at them and said, "And I'm sorry, but our school only has K.O in their interest." The brothers looked sad, and Elodie looked at K.O and said with a smile, "And they want your answer if you would attend our school, not everyone gets an invite like this." "And what will it be?" Savage asked with a glare. K.O looked at the invite with a nervous look and thought of something, and he said, "Can I have some time to think about it?" Everyone was surprised about this and Elodie said with a smile, "Of course darling, it is a big decision so I can't blame you for having a hard time to decide. I'm sorry for throwing this at you unexpectedly, but our teachers want to know your decision for your pontional." Elodie looked at Savage with a glare, which went unnoticed by everyone and said, "And Savage and I don't mind waiting. Do we Savage?" Savage sighed as he looked annoyed and said, "Fine, we'll stay to hear your decision." Savage left the store before looking back at K.O with a glare and said, "But make it quick, we don't have all day." K.O looked at Elodie and said, "What's his deal?" "Oh, he's just serious about being in P.O.I.N.T Prep. It is the place where the best heroes go to school after all." Elodie said, before she smiled at K.O again and said, "Well I'll be nearby waiting for your decision. Don't make us wait too long." Before Elodie could leave, she noticed Enid who was still in disguise and said, "Oh, hello Enid." "Elodie." Enid simply said. "So this is where you've been all this time." Elodie left the store with the fans cheering her and she looked at Enid and said, "Tootles." Before Elodie left, she looked at K.O and winked at him before she took her leave. "Man, you are lucky to go to P.O.I.N.T bro." T.K.O said as he patted K.O's back. "And you are that champion of five of the Youth Battle Tournaments?" Rad asked. "Yeah, you can say that." K.O said with a blush, and Rad showed him his phone, which had a picture of him after he won one of the tournaments.
