Chapter 12: Dendy's Age Device

Author's notes: This chapter is based on an ok ko fan comic called Dendy's Age Device. In this chapter, the story of the comic is different as K.O takes part of the main thing, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the chapter.

Finally, a chapter based on a fan comic I wanted to write for a while now, and I hope you all like it.

In Dendy's lad, she was finishing up something and when she was done, she raised it up and said, "At last, after some very careful research, I have created a way to change reality and adjust one's age." Dendy thought for a moment and said, "I can't be able to test it on K.O or the others, it might cause pain or worse to them..." Dendy then had an idea and said, "I know, I'll try it on myself, this will be a way to see if it works." Dendy then placed a finger on the button and said, "Though I have to be careful and watch for reactions, this could get addicting." Dendy then pressed the button and a light engulfed her. At the Bodega, K.O mopped the floors with a smile, which he always does smile while cleaning, but this time it was for a good reason. 'Okay, today's the day I'm gonna tell Dendy how I feel about her.' K.O thought as he thought some more. 'I met her about a month ago, and she really did get my attention when we hung out, at school she likes helping with tests, and how she likes being around me. Today, I'm gonna tell her my feelings for her.' K.O looked brave to confess his feelings for his friend. The store's doors opened and entering was woman who has familiar features to something K.O knows, with the yellow jumpsuit and blue skin, green skin, and brown hair, with the new addition was some shoulder pads, the hair shorter and spiky on the sides, and her skin was more greener. "Hello everyone." Said the woman as she faced Rad, Enid, K.O and his brothers. The employees greeted her, but for K.O, when he heard everyone call her Dendy, he thought, 'Dendy? It can't be, she's not an adult.' "And hello to you too, K.O." Dendy said as she was standing in front of him. "Dendy, what's going on?" K.O asked, which confused Dendy and everyone else and Dendy said, "What do you mean, K.O?" "How can you be older than us?" K.O asked, which surprised everyone, including Dendy and Enid said, "Dude, why did you ask her that? She's 21 years old, don't you remember?" '21 years old?! She's supposed to be 17.' K.O thought. "K.O can we talk alone?" Dendy asked. K.O nodded and they got away from the group and when they were by the freezer area, Dendy said, "K.O, how can you know I'm supposed to be 17?" "What are you talking about? What happened to you?" K.O asked. Dendy pulled out her device and said, "I invented something to alter one's age and the reality of their existence as if they were that age." "So you made yourself an adult and everyone doesn't notice something's different about you?" K.O asked. "Affirmative." Dendy said as she was getting a cold soda as she said, "I tested the device on me, and I saw it worked, and I even got memories of what I did at this age." "Okay that's nice, but I think you should turn 17 again." K.O said as he felt a little uneasy. "I will, I can do that if I want to, so I'll do it eventually." Dendy said as she was heading towards the counter to pay for the soda with K.O following her and said, "I mean now Dendy, turn back now." "I'll do it sometime K.O. But I do have one question." Dendy said as she was at the counter and she looked at K.O and said, "How are you aware something's different and I'm supposed to be 17?" "I don't know." K.O said. Dendy was thinking how strange it is, until a beeping some came off and she said, "Oh, time to go." Dendy then looked at a device on her wrist and pressed a button on it and she disappeared in a flash, which surprised K.O and he said, "Wait, where did she go?" "She went back to her lab man, where else?" T.K.O said. K.O looked at everyone and said, "So, Dendy was always 21?" "Dude, she's like 25, what's going on?" Rad said, which shocked K.O and he thought, '25?! She must've changed her age again, and reality is changing with her, as if she's always been that way, and she even has memories of what she did before or when she was that age.' "K.O, is something wrong?" C.K.O asked his brother in concern and K.O thought, 'Well, even if she can change her age whenever she wants, that's not gonna stop me. I gotta stop Dendy from aging herself even more and tell her my feelings, before it's too late, and before I lose my chance to finally get to date someone.' K.O got his duffle bag that had his sword and said, "Guys, I'm leaving for the day." "Where're you going?" P.K.O asked. "I'm going somewhere for a little me time." K.O said as he walks out of the store, leaving the group confused and Rad said, "He's not coming back, is he?" "No, and I think it has to do with Dendy since he asked about her." T.K.O said. "Just what's with him today?" Enid said. K.O ran as fast as he could to Dendy's lad, and he was going as fast as the passing cars are and he said, "Good thing I can run as fast as a vehicle. Now I have to get to Dendy before she age's again." At Dendy's lab, Dendy was now 25 years old, and she gained a bit of a thick figure with the hips and legs, and her hair was a bit curly now. "I look good like this." Dendy said as she marveled at her appearance with a smile. "Dendy." K.O's voice called out, as he appeared in her lab and he wasn't even out of breath and he thought, 'Good thing I have high stamina, otherwise I'd be panting like heck when I get here.' "K.O, nice to see you." Dendy said with a smile. "Dendy, do you realize what you're doing?" K.O asked. "Yes, I'm satisfying my curiosity of what I would be if I were older." Dendy said. "But all you were gonna do was test your device, right?" K.O asked. "Yes, but I think it won't hurt if I just see what the future has in store for me." Dendy said. "But you're still in the present, how can you be seeing your future like this?" K.O asked. "Well, I'm getting older, so it's still going into the future." Dendy said, before she noticed a letter on a desk and said, "Wait, what's this?" Dendy opened the letter and read it, and she was in joy as jumped and said, "Yes, I just became the new CEO of the POW Card Factory." 'Wow, I know she loves POW Cards like me, but I never thought she could be the factory's CEO.' K.O thought. Dendy looked confused and said, "Wait, I just remembered I don't have what it takes to be a CEO, and I might not be able to run it good." K.O felt nervous about what his friend was gonna do and Dendy smiled as she said, "I have the perfect tool for it." "No, Dendy stop-" K.O was too late as Dendy pressed her Device's button again and in a flash, she aged to 30 years old, her curvyness was still there a little bit, and her hair got shorter. "Okay, let's go to my office." Dendy said as she went to a teleporter since her teleporting device was not on her wrist anymore, and she teleported away. "I can't give up now." K.O said as he ran towards the teleporter and teleported after Dendy. In the POW Card Factory in an office, Dendy looked excited and said, "Now I'm the CEO, and I have memories of helping out P.O.I.N.T." Dendy sat at her desk with a smile and said, "This feels nice, but I'm still curious." Dendy thought about it and she then said, "What would I be if I were older?" Dendy then used the device again and she turned 35, and her hair became longer and was in a bun and her hair had white streaks in it. With K.O, he arrived at the POW Card Factory and he said, "Don't worry Dendy, I'm coming." K.O was approaching the factory, until he felt something in his pocket and he took what it was out and saw it was an invitation to meet the CEO. "An invitation to meet Dendy? I guess I entered some kind of contest in this reality to meet with her, makes it easier for me to get in." K.O said as he entered the factory. With Dendy, she got done talking with her assistant and she was leaving to go meet with K.O and his brothers and she aged again to 40, where she is thick, her bun is bigger, has gloves to match her boots, and she is growing crows feet. "Oh, this feels good. Maybe later I can use this for people who want their youth back. The possibilities are endless. Now I better get to the elevator to meet K.O and his brothers." Dendy said with a smile as she got to an elevator and while it was going down, she aged again to 45, where her hairstyle is adjusted, and grey hairs are mixing with the white streaks. "This feels nice, and I am part of K.O's family as his adopted aunt and mother's adopted sister. Now where can he and his brothers be?" With K.O, he walked to the elevators for he knew that's where Dendy might be, and to his surprise, he saw T.K.O, C.K.O, and P.K.O walking to his destination and called out to them, "Guys?" The younger brothers looked at their older brother and T.K.O said, "There you are, where were you?" "What are you guys doing here?" K.O asked. "We're here for Miss Dendy's company to the amusement park." P.K.O said in confusion. "You guys got invites too?" K.O asked. "Yeah, we won the contest together." C.K.O said. "What's up with you today?" T.K.O asked. K.O was standing with his brothers and said, "Guys, this might sound crazy, but Dendy or Miss Dendy is-" "Our aunt? Yeah we know, she was adopted by our Mom's parents when they were kids." T.K.O said. K.O was shocked and thought, 'Adopted by Grandma and Grandpa and grew up with my Mom? Now it looks like Dendy is going into my family as an adult, not how I want it.' "MISS DENDY." C.K.O said as he ran towards Dendy, who was exiting the elevator and the other younger brothers approached her and she greeted them and said, "Ready for a fun day with your aunt?" "Yeah." T.K.O said and they were going to a limo and K.O said, "Wait." THe group looked at the oldest Kincaid quadruplet and said, "Dendy, stop what you're doing, think about what's happening." "K.O, what's up?" T.K.O asked as he walked up to his older brother. "T.K.O, do you see it? Dendy is not supposed to be an adult, she's supposed to be in high school with us." K.O said. "Dude, she's around our Mom's age, she's a graduate." T.K.O said. "Maybe you see like that, but I know what's going on." K.O said, only for T.K.O to punch him in the gut, which shocked his younger brothers and Dendy and K.O got down on his knees and held his gut as he looked up at T.K.O and said, "What was that for?" "You're acting weird today, so I thought I could knock some sense into you." T.K.O said, before he walked to the limo and said, "And I guess you won't be coming with you brothers and aunt to the amusement park today since you've been acting strange today." K.O pointed at T.K.O with a mad look and said, "T.K.O, I am your big brother, and I order you to think about what you just did and apologize." "Sorry big bro, you can't tell me what to do right now, so I'm just gonna let you think about what you did today." T.K.O said before he got into the limo with his brothers and Dendy and it drove off. K.O managed to shake off his injury and said, "Lucky I can shake off injuries like this." K.O got on his feet and said, "I still won't stop from saving Dendy from her own aging, and when I do that, T.K.O is gonna get it." K.O then ran towards where the Limo was going. In the limo, Dendy said to T.K.O, "You didn't have to punch your older brother like that, even if he was acting weird today." "Sorry then, I'll apologize when I see him." T.K.O said. Dendy aged again, and she was now in her 50s and her hair was longer and greyer, and she had wrinkles. The limo stopped at the park and she and the younger kincaid brothers got into the park and when they were checking out the rides, Dendy aged again to her 60s, and the changes was her hair with is now white and she dyed her streaks blue so they can be seen, blue stripes are on her jumpsuit which is now white. With K.O, he had a POW Card of Dendy which he found in his pocket and he decided to use it to see what she is at whatever age she at, and he was in the woods and said, "Well, the amusement park is the other side of these woods, let's go." K.O walked through the woods only for a voice to say, "Not so fast, pretty boy." K.O was surprised at whoever was there and out of nowhere, Fink appeared and she stood in front of K.O and said, "You're not going anywhere near that frog." "You." K.O said as he saw Fink, and she said, "Hello, and the name's Fink, in case you didn't know." "Okay, now if you will excuse me, I'm gonna go." K.O said, but Fink blocked his path and said, "Oh, you're not gonna stop that frog from getting older." "What? How do you know that?" Fink smiled and said, "Because I'm like you." K.O was confused on what she meant by that, until Fink unbuttoned the top of her dress with a smile and not only showed her cleavage but a symbol that is similar to K.O and his brothers' symbols and he said, "Wait? You're a Gear?" "Yep." Fink said as she buttoned her dress back up. "What does it have to do with you knowing what's going on?" K.O asked. "Oh, you and me possess this part of our Gear powers that cuts us off from reality as it's altered such as the past being changed and it affects the future, and whatever can affect reality such as that frog's device when she changes her age and reality changes to be like she was always that age." Fink said, which surprised K.O that his Gear powers protect him from reality as it alters. "But it doesn't matter, when she becomes an old lady and never wants to turn 17 again, you will belong to me as my lover." Fink said with a smile and she laughed.
