Chapter 2: The job hiring

Mr. Gar and his employees entered the arcade, looking for K.O, and they found him and his brothers at a fighting game with T.K.O was mashing buttons like crazy. "Wait, there's four K.O's?" Rad asked as he saw K.O's brothers. "They must be his brothers." Mr. Gar said. "So K.O has quadruplet brothers?" Enid asked. "Apparently." Mr. Gar said. T.K.O was mashing the buttons like crazy as he was fighting against his oppenton in the game, and he was drinking a soda from the ideas K.O bought at the Bodega. "Yeah. Yeah. Eat that, ya punk." T.K.O said as he kept pressing buttons. "You do know you're not really fighting someone in real life, right?" P.K.O asked. T.K.O looked at his youngest brother in offense and said, "Hey, I'm just having fun playing this game." The quadruplets heard someone clear their throat, and they turned their heads and saw Mr. Gar, Rad, and Enid standing there, and K.O sweated and said, "Oh, Rad and Enid, hi." "And Mr. Gar." C.K.O said as he felt a little scared. Mr. Gar looked at the brothers and said, "Okay, which one of you four is the one named K.O?" The brothers looked at Mr. Gar with confused looks, until K.O spoke up and said, "Uh, that would be me." The manager of the Bodega looked at K.O who was sweating and said, "And did you fight a Darrell that came to attack the Plaza?" "Hey old man." T.K.O said, which got Mr. Gar's attention as K.O's goth brother stood up after losing the game because of his interruption from the wrestler like man and said, "If you have a beef with my big brother for fighting a robot who decided to fight him and want to yell at him for it, then you have to answer to me about it." Mr. Gar was kinda surprised at the emo teenager's response to him and said as he toned down his tough guy act, "Woah, calm down. I'm just here with my employees to talk to your brother about his fight with that Darrell he had, and I'm not gonna yell at him about it." "Okay." T.K.O said as he glared at the man. "Wow, I guess they are K.O's brothers." Rad said. "Yeah, especially since they got the same appearance as each other, and like you said, including their muscular bodies." Enid said. Mr. Gar looked at the rest of the quadruplets and said, "And I must say, you four look pretty strong like how Rad looks." K.O fell face first into the ground and he said, "How many people are gonna mention my muscles, let alone my brothers?" "Ah, thank you?" C.K.O said to Mr. Gar. Mr. Gar knew this was getting awkward and said, "Anyway, I want to ask K.O a question since he took out the Darrell." Meanwhile at a factory across the street from the Plaza, a man was sitting at a desk, looking mad, the man was short and chubby, a cyborg eye, a lab coat and black pants. "Gross." The man simply said, and he remembered K.O and him beating Darrell and said, "And just who is that teenager with the headband? He beat Darrell like he was a match for him." A robot walked into the room, the robot was a golden robot and was a female, and she had a curvy figure and thick hips and legs. "Hey daddy, you wanted to see me?" The man looked at the robot and said, "Oh Shannon, I see you came like I ordered." "So, what do you want me to do?" Shannon asked. "I want you to take care of the boy who hurt Darrell." The man said. Shannon looked interested and said, "So, you want me to teach that boy who beat up Darrell a lesson?" "Yes." The man said, and Shannon left after she nodded, and the man looked at the Plaza through his window and said, "Just wait kid, you're gonna know what happens when you mess with Lord Boxman." With the quadruplets and the bodega staff, the brothers looked surprised and P.K.O said, "Wait, you want to hire our oldest brother to work at your store?" "Yes, I think he would make a perfect employee for us." Mr. Gar said, and he looked at K.O and said, "So K.O, you want to join my crew?" Before K.O could answer, the red alarm came on and the group ran outside, and when they were outside the arcade, they saw another box land and it opened, revealing Shannon. "Greetings Plaza fools, I, Shannon, am gonna destroy you." Shannon said with an evil smirk. Rad and Enid got ready to fight until Shannon pointed at K.O and said, "Hey you, boy with the red headband." K.O pointed at himself in question, and Shannon said, "Yeah you, you beat up my brother and now I'm gonna make you pay." T.K.O then pushed his big brother and said, "Go get her, bro." "What? K.O asked. "What? I thought you wanted to fight villains." T.K.O said. "But she's a girl." K.O complained. "Really? K.O can't even fight a girl?" Enid said in frustration. "Well, he wants to be a good person." P.K.O said. "Well me and Enid fight her everyday, she is a villain after all." Rad said. "But..." K.O was interrupted by Mr. Gar as he said, "K.O, it's alright if you fight Shannon, if she is a villain or is trying to hurt you, you can fight back." K.O still felt nervous about fighting the opposite gender, but he rubbed it off and looked at Shannon and said, "Well, I guess I gotta fight you then." "Duh." Shannon said in annoyance. K.O pulled out his sword from his duffle bag and said with a smile, "Well then, let's go." Shannon then turned her hands into buzzsaws, and Rad and Enid were about to join in the fight, but Mr. Gar stopped them by placing his hands on their shoulders and said, "No you two, I want to see what K.O is capable of on his own." K.O and Shannon faced each other with the intention to fight.

Shannon jumped to K.O, who then punched her in the gut when she was about slice him with her buzzsaw, and when she landed on the ground about 3 feet from K.O, he slammed his sword into the ground and shouted, "POWER FLAME." A shockwave of flame came from the spot K.O's sword was placed and went forward towards Shannon, but she managed to dodge the flame as she looked surprised that K.O made fire appear, which the Bodega staff were shocked as well, expect for the rest of K.O's brothers. "Wait, what happened?" Rad asked. "K.O can make fire from his hands, feet, and sword." T.K.O said. 'Wait, does that mean he can do magic?' Enid thought. Shannon tried to punch K.O, only for him to kick her in the face and do a somersault  and waved his legs in the air, kicking her more. "Wow, K.O can even do a windmill kick." Rad said. "Yeah, he did train for years." T.K.O said. K.O then punched Shannon, who then looked in compete anger and said, "THAT'S IT, I'LL END YOU PAINFULLY BEFORE YOU MAKE ANOTHER STUPID ATTACK." Shannon then changed into a giant tornado and wents towards K.O and picked him up in the winds, and the quadruplets looked shocked. "What the? What happened?" C.K.O asked. "Shannon can shapeshift into anything." Enid said. "So I guess K.O is now gonna have trouble with her now." Rad said. "Or well he?" T.K.O said as he smirked as he watch the fight. As Shannon was laughing as she was about to finish K.O off, she then felt cold and when she was confused on what was going on, she heard K.O's voice as he shouted, "POWER FROST." Shannon then frozen inside of ice and K.O kicked through the ice and uppercutted it, shattering the ice and Shannon, with what's left is her upper half. "Wait, K.O can make ice too?" Rad asked. "Yeah, he has the magic to use fire and ice." P.K.O said. "And, he can even do..." T.K.O said as he looked at the fight, and K.O powered up a blue flame in his hand and punched Shannon, and he threw a left punch with a purple fireball, completely destroying Shannon, and K.O stood in victory. After the fight, K.O walked up to Mr. Gar and he said, "I made my decision." "And?" Mr. Gar asked. "I'll join your staff." Mr. Gar smiled and said, "Well welcome aboard." "Hey." The boss of the Bodega looked at T.K.O and his brothers and P.K.O said, "If you're gonna hire K.O, then we have one condition." "What is it?" Mr. Gar asked. "We want to join the staff too." K.O and the staff looked shocked and Rad said, "Wait, why would you want to join us?" "If our brother is working at Gar's Bodega, we go with him." T.K.O said. "Mr. Gar was just gonna hire your brother and not..." Enid was interruipted by C.K.O as he said, "We are with our brother no matter what, and that means him getting a job." Mr. Gar sweated and said, "Well, um..." "I say they can all be good employees for you Gene." Said a voice, which made Mr. Gar all shocked and turn pink, and the brothers were surprised as they turned and saw a woman standing next to the group, the woman was around Mr. Gar's age, she had a curvy athletic figure, tanned skin like the quadruplets and blonde wavy hair, she is wearing a dark purple jumpsuit, white boots, red gloves, and a red headband similar to K.O's. "C-C-Carol?" Mr. Gar said as he looked at the woman. Enid looked at the brothers wondering why they looked surprised to see the woman when C.K.O said, "Oh, hi Mom." The staff looked surprised that the woman who is named Carol is the quadruplets' mother as Rad thought, 'Wow, the dojo lady in the Plaza is K.O and his brothers' mom? Cool.' "I think it'll be a good idea for my boys to work at your store Gene, they might make great use of your service." Carol said with a smile. Mr. Gar sweated more and said, "Oh alright, the rest of your kids can join us." "YAY." Said the brothers in joy as Rad and Enid handed K.O a vest and Enid said, "Here K.O, this vest is our last one and we don't have more for your brothers." K.O took it and put it on, and he marveled at how he looked and said, "I look great." T.K.O removed his jacket and gave it to Carol as he said, "Here Mom, I guess since I got a job now, I won't be needing this." Rad looked at T.K.O and said, "Wait, so you actually have a muscular body like your brothers?" T.K.O looked at Rad with a offended look and said, "ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY I CAN"T HAVE A BODY LIKE A BIG BROTHER AND LITTLE BROTHER?" Rad was taken back from this and said, "No no, I just didn't think you were buff like your brother's, that's all." Well, I trained with my bros too, so I gotta look cool." T.K.O said as he flexed his right arm, which mad Rad a little mad. Mr. Gar said, "Alright, you kids start working at my store tomorrow, I'll let you continue having your brother hangout day." "Yeah." The brothers all said at the same time before they walk back into the arcade. 'Well, my four little angels are gonna start their lives as heroes tomorrow, I can only hope for the best they can.' Carol thought with a smile.
