After Minho, Jisung, and Seungmin arrived at the shelter and got the cats sorted out, they all made their way outside.

"See you later," Seungmin called, waving, before heading in the opposite direction as the other two. Jisung felt a pang of jealousy as he realized that Seungmin would get to see Minho at their home.

Minho and Jisung made their way to the Seoul University campus. Gray clouds had formed during their walk, and it was starting to drizzle. Jisung started to run, and Minho followed, splashing through murky water on the last couple of blocks, and quickly scanning themselves inside.

They entered and wandered down the hallways with no particular destination in mind. "Between the stink of the dumpster and the rain," Minho panted, "We're gonna scare people away."

Jisung laughed. "I honestly won't mind if people leave us alone."

Minho's mind flashed back to the innuendo Seungmin had made about him and Jisung, and he stumbled over his next words. "Where do you want to go?"

"Hmm, how about the music practice rooms?" he asked, running his hands over the white brick walls as they walked. "I spend a lot of time there writing."

"Oh nice," Minho said. "I'm not working on any projects right now, do you have anything to do?"

"No, but I have an idea for something I want to start," Jisung replied.

Minho turned to meet his eyes. "Oh yeah? What is it?"

"It's a secret," Jisung teased.

Minho looked at Jisung and narrowed his eyes, jokingly looking at him suspiciously. "All right then."

They set themselves up in a small practice room where there was just an upright piano, a guitar, and a long desk with some chairs. They settled down across from each other, relaxing in their chairs.

The bright white lights made Jisung's wounds more apparent. "You really should get your face checked out," Minho said seriously.

"Why would I need to when you check me out all the time," Jisung said, unthinkingly.

They both froze as they processed Jisung's words. Jisung just couldn't believe that he'd actually said his thoughts out loud. Minho internally panicked as he'd thought that his staring in the back of the truck had been sly, but maybe it had been more obvious than he'd thought.

They both looked at each other and immediately looked away, embarrassed. Neither of them acknowledged what had just occurred, and moved onto another topic.

"How did you know that I was younger than you?" Jisung asked, recalling their past conversation.

Minho thought for a moment. "I guess you give off that freshman vibe. It's not a bad thing," Minho added, looking at Jisung's unhappy expression. "It's weird because you're usually pretty confident. I think it's just your face."

Jisung still looked a little put out, wrapping his arms around himself, so Minho said, "I think it's cute, don't worry."

Jisung looked across the table and met Minho's eyes, and quickly looked away. Quiet again.

Minho breathed in deeply, not minding Jisung's shyness. He thought for a moment, trying to find something to say, when he remembered something that had been bugging him. "I'm surprised we ran into each other again. What if I hadn't shown up at the alley?"

Jisung looked back up at him. "Oh, I knew you'd want to help the cats as soon as possible," he said, "And I figured you would only be able to get there after school."

"But what if I hadn't shown up?" Minho asked.

Jisung was embarrassed to admit how much thought he'd put into his plan. "I was planning on going back to the shelter later to try to find you."

They were both quiet for a moment.

"I'm glad you found me," Minho finally said, looking at Jisung for so long that Jisung had to turn his head away yet again, starting to sweat under Minho's gaze.

Jisung nodded and cleared his throat. "We should get started on our music." He stood up to get the guitar and sat down on the floor. Minho peered over the table at him, confused, and then went to go sit next to him.

Jisung played the guitar and Minho notated the chords that he came up with on his phone.

"This sounds really sweet," Minho said. "You should make it your ringtone."

Jisung stretched his arm over his head, trying to avoid touching Minho. "Oh, I don't know how to do that."

"Let me help you," Minho said, and Jisung passed his phone to Minho who quickly set up the ringtone. Then Minho leaned away from Jisung and started swiping and typing on the phone.

Jisung yelped. "Hey, give me my phone back!"

Minho laughed and leaned back, holding the phone out of reach. "Not until I'm done."

Jisung, instead of trying to grab his phone back, wrapped his arms around Minho's upper body, pinning his arms to his side. Minho laughed as he struggled to keep Jisung's phone away, before giving up and letting himself be suffocated in Jisung's hug.

The door swung open, banging against the wall. A guy holding a laptop with a large external hard drive and a mic walked in.

Jisung quickly let go of Minho, both looking embarrassed.

The newcomer looked surprised. "Oh - oh I'm sorry, I thought this room was empty." He looked like he was about to turn around and leave when Jisung called back.

"No, it's okay Chan. Uh, Minho, this is Chan, my roommate's boyfriend. Chan, this is Minho. . ."

"Yeah, we've met before in dance class," Chan said, cutting the awkward silence. "By the way, Jisung, Changbin told me someone was looking for you? They showed up at your door."

"Oh - okay, thank you," Jisung nodded, and Chan left to find an empty room.

Jisung turned back to Minho. "Now I really need that back," he said, plucking his phone out of Minho's hand, and Minho humphed.

Jisung patted his head, getting up. "It's okay, I'll let you win next time," he said.

Minho laughed and leaned back on his hands, looking at Jisung. "See you again?"

Jisung nodded. "Yeah, I'll talk to you soon, okay? I'll find you again."

They waved goodbye, and then Jisung left.

Minho was left sitting on the floor, looking up at the closed door. He got up, smiling to himself, knowing that their next meeting would be sooner than expected.
