In each story, I will give a little rundown of what had happened just before in the episode up to where my writing begins, in case you can't remember.
Previously in this episode, knight Valiant entered the tournament in Camelot using an enchanted shield where snakes would come out of the painting on the front to stun his opponent, ensuring his win. Merlin had found out after Valiant's opponent Sir Ewan had bite marks and fell gravely ill. Merlin told Arthur of his discovery, who went to Uther to reveal the evil knight's cunning plan. However, things began to unravel.
