This kid has went through absolute hell.
All I wanted to do was protect him from the harsh world that he lived in. After the boy cried him to sleep I called the my friend.
He was the chief of police and asked him if he knew about Shoyo, hoping it was a lie. Which it was not he knew him well,
"So why are you taking an interest in the boy Keishin?" Obito asked with interest in his deep smooth voice.
"Well to put it plainly, I want to adopt him. I caught him drunk from his moms alcohol, and he he already calls me dad man. I love him like my own son. I thought it was just because I was being a good coach. But I after I found out about his home life I want to help him and show him what a true family is." I explained getting even more angry as I thought about his mom.
"Wait! She just got the kid back! Is she still doing drugs?" Obito yelled over the phone.
"Calm down, and to Shoyo yes. She is doing heroin and cocaine. Shoyo told me about it but he is asleep right now. But I want adoption papers like before the end of the week. I am taking him out of school to get him used to my apartment, move him in, and spend time with him." I said in the phone making some coffee.
"Alright, I'll get right on that okay! and I'll send the cops to his house to arrest her now. I'll update you when it's finished. And thank you, that boy needs a stable family." Obito said hanging up the phone.
I drank my coffee and waited for the call.
