With a successful show under his belt for the night, Porter was on a high. As we wound our way backstage, Porter was again chatting nonstop about the plan for tonight. Apparently, we were going to hang with the crew in the greenroom until the show ended and then head to a club in Atlanta.

"Will they even let us in?" I questioned, laughing softly at Porter's energy.

He stopped in his tracks and gave me a "really?" look.

"What? I don't have a fake ID..." I said and bit my lip. I was worried that I might be ruining his plans.

"Trust me. You won't need one. I have you covered." He said confidently.

"Alright...whatever you say." I replied with a smirk. He just laughed and ushered me back into the greenroom.

Porter was immediately met with cheers and claps on the back from the people gathered in the greenroom. I could tell he was trying to rein in his massive grin and shrug it off as no big deal. But he was proud, and he had good reason to be.

We found our way to the couch and sat on the end where there was just enough space for two people. Immediately a woman came over to us.

"Porter!" She exclaimed. She was strikingly beautiful and dressed in one of the hippest outfits I had seen in person. We certainly weren't in Chapel Hill anymore.

"Hey Joanna." Porter said with a smile, I could feel him sitting up taller next to me.

"Well, you killed it. Once again." She said with a smile and lightly touched him on the shoulder.

"Oh thanks," Porter replied and awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, I could see his cheeks slightly flush with color. Suddenly he seemed to remember that I was sitting next to him. "This is my best friend, Kate by the way." He put his arm around me.

"Hi Kate, so nice to meet you." She said coolly and held out her hand.

"Nice to meet you too." I said and shook her hand. It was, of course, baby soft.

"Joanna is one of Tiesto's good friends." Porter said.

"Oh...cool." I said with a smile, wishing I could come up with a better response. I couldn't help but feel massively intimidated by this beautiful woman standing in front of me. And I wondered how good of friends she was with Porter now too.

"Yes and thankfully T introduced me to our very own DJ prodigy here." Joanna said and shot Porter a dazzling smile. "You must be so proud." She turned to me.

"Of course." I said and cleared my throat nervously, "He is incredible." Silently cursing myself for not being able to play it cool.

"Oh, stop it you two." Porter said with a smile and swatted the air with his hand. This earned a laugh from Joanna and I could see Porter's smile grow even larger.

"Okay well what are we drinking?" She asked Porter and I "Can I get you two anything?"

"Well, what are we working with here?" Porter asked and glanced towards the bar.

"I think there's a ton of your favorite, Patrón." She said.

"Oh fuck yeah, let's do two tequila sodas." Porter said and stood up from the couch. "Here I can get it, you don't have to—"

"No, I insist. Let me get you and your adorable friend a drink." She said with a wink and walked away. Porter sat back down next to me. I wasn't sure whether to be complimented or offended by the use of "adorable." I decided that I was just going to shrug it off.
