belle's pov

it had been a couple days since the party and i was standing by my locker sorting out my homework.

ever since the party, i haven't really seen cara that much. if i had seen her, it'd be in the cafeteria with her being sat with jaxson and his friends.

i started hanging out with nia more and she's really fun. i found out that she wasn't one of mattia's dolls which was something we both had in common.

in fact we had a lot of things in common. we like the same tv series, films, lessons, clothing style. it was a lot more then what me and cara had and i liked that for some reason. i mean, just the thought of having nia not make fun of me for my interests made me happy.

"hey, belle." nia smiled as she walked up over to me and leant against the locker that was next to mine. she had her books from the library in her hand and a pair of round glasses on top of her head.

i smiled back and shut my locker once i finished putting the homework in there. "hey, nia, want to come to the library after school?" i ask and she nods and goes to say something else before i'm flicked on the back of my head.

i turn around and instantly groan and roll my eyes at the 6"1 guy standing in front of me. "what do you want?" i food my arms across my chest and he looks me up and down before biting his lower lip.

"what're you doing saturday night?" he wondered and i let out a chuckle.

"nothing with you."

mattia laughed and shook his head. "what? why? i mean, you could be having so much fun with me. i'll make you feel pleasure-"

"please," i shook my head, pulling a face of disgust. "please stop."

"come on, i'm not as bad as you think."

"really? or is it only everyone else but you who seems to notice how you play girls." i raise a brow and he chuckles.

"you're feisty, i like it." he complemented and i rolled my eyes.

"whatever." i sighed and turned back around to face nia who was glaring at mattia as he walked away.

"what a dick." she shook her head.

"tell me about it."

-

it was now sunday and i was at my local coffee shop doing more homework. i had a cup of tea beside me and a slice of cake.

"anything else belle?" the owner of the shop, tilly, asked and i smiled at her and shook my head no.

i carried on with homework until the bell to the door rang. i looked up out of curiosity and saw four familiar faces.

i rolled my eyes and when i made eh contact with mattia i quickly looked down at my algebra.

"wassup, shawty." the tall black boy smirked and walked over to me.

"hello, roshaun." i fake smiled.

he pulled out the seat in front of me and rubbed his hands together as he sat down.

"how are you?" he asked and if i'm being honest, i was quite shocked. this wasn't the roshaun i knew.

"um.. good. you?" i awkwardly ask back and he shrugs and then looks back at mattia who quickly puts his head down.

"you know mattia, yeah?" he raised a brow and i nodded slowly.

"yeah.." i trailed. "look roshaun, if you're going to try and get me with him, save your breath. i'm not interested." i tried to make it come off polite.

roshaun laughed and shook his head. "all i want to say is he's pretty upset."

upset? why?

it was like roshaun could read my mind because he answered my question.

"he said that you're the most prettiest girl he's ever seen and was heartbroken that you rejected him... twice."

i slowly nod and let out a chuckle. "mattia? heartbroken? i never thought those words would be in the same sentence... well the word heartbroken being that mattia is heartbroken- you know what, i'm glad he's heartbroken."

"and that's because..?"

"because now he knows how the other girls felt when he dumped them like he was taking the trash out." i said and took a bite out the delicious cake.

roshaun nodded and then stood up. "well, that's really the only reason why i came over here, to tell you about him." he shrugged and clapped his hands together. "but i think you should give him a chance."

"yeah, i don't think so." i shook my head and he laughed and shook his before walking back over to the boys.

mattia's pov

"so? what'd she say? did she fall for it?" i asked as roshaun returned and he shrugged. what the fuck does that mean?

"what does that mean?" alejandro asked and he sighed.

"i think she believed the part about you being heartbroken, but she's not going to give you a chance though." he explained and i sighed.

"this bet is going so wrongly," i whined and wiped my forehead out of frustration.

"fucking hell, what does it take for her to get with me?"

"maybe if you didn't just do this for a bet and actually wanted to get to know her or get to know someone else, maybe she'd trust you." kairi said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. which it was.

i sigh and look down at my lap and begin thinking. and suddenly, i came up with the best plan ever.
