four days before.

"so, have you gotten with her yet?" alejandro asks me as we were all in my bedroom, either on my xbox or on our phones.

"no, but i have a plan." i tell them.

"what is it?" alvaro wondered as he turned his phone off and looked at me.

"i'm going to make her be my friend and then when she finally trusts me i'll do it," i explain and then turn to my bag that was by my bedside and pick it up and open it and get the book out she gave me. "i made a deal with her, i have to read this book and then i can have her do something i want her to do."

"are you going to make her sleep with you?" roshaun then asked and i heard kairi scoff.

"that's so low of you man, that's just a bit like rape. you're making her have sex with you." he rolled his eyes.

"i'm not going to do that, i'm just gonna make her go on a date with me."

"a date? have you ever been on one of those before?" robert raised a brow and i shook my head.

"do you know what to do? or where to go?" kairi questioned and once again i shook my head no.

kairi let out a laugh. "you're going to fail at this."

"can you stop being a bitch and just shut the fuck up?" i scowled.

"i'm being a bitch by trying to stop you from breaking a girls heart?"

"yeah," i nodded. "yeah you are. if i want to do this then let me. it'll be my consequences in the end."

"god, how could i ever be friends with such a man whore." kairi huffed and stood up and walked to my bedroom door.

"bro, where're you going?" roshaun asked.

"home." he said and opened the door and ran up the stairs.

"bitch!" i yelled.

"i like your plan, dude." alejandro spoke and i thanked him.

"what do you want?" kairi asked once he saw me standing on his door step.

"i wanted to apologize." i said. "what i said wasn't right."

kairi nodded. "two right, but i forgive you." he shrugged.

"really?"

"yeah."

"thanks bro." i smiled and we bro hugged.

"do you want to come in? i'm bored and i want to play cod with someone."

i nodded and we made our way upstairs.

present day.

"where should i take her?" i ask roshaun as we sat in the coffee shop together. roshaun for some reason was here because he wanted to catch up with homework but i new it was just a total lie and that he was here for something else because he never does his homework.

"she said she likes any restaurant, so take her anywhere." he said like it's was the most obvious thing in the world.

"nice thinking, dumbass." i sarcastically said and rolled my eyes. "but that's the thing, she said anywhere so i don't know which place to go."

"how about we ask her best friend?" roshaun suggests as he bit his lip and looked behind me at someone.

"what?" i ask and turn around and see cara. i roll my eyes and turn back towards him.

"you came here just to see her?"

roshaun slowly began to nod but quickly stopped himself and shook his head no. "no, of course not. i came here for you as well a-and my homework."

i scoff and let out a laugh. "whatever bro."

"hey! cara! come over here!" roshaun yelled and caused heads to turn in our direction.

i groan as cara turns around and looks roshaun up and down before walking over here.

"hey roshaun," she said with no expression and then turned to me and smirked. "hey, mattia."

"hi.." i awkwardly said.

"so, what did you want?" she asks roshaun.

"uh, do you know any places that belle would eat at?" he asked and she thought for a moment.

"her favorite place to go is the cheesecake factory down the road." she told us and we thanked her and she nodded before walking back over to her group of friends.

"the cheesecake factory it is then."

"hey, why are you so.. you know.. full on about this date? i mean, you could've just taken her to devs by your house."

"the run down diner?" i raise a brow and he nods. "if i'm being honest, i'm not sure why. i guess she's a nice girl and deserves nice things."

"but you're going to break her heart at the end of this."
