-Steph's POV-

"Hey Lau- What the fuck?!"

Walking into Lauren's room, I never expected to see her lip locked with some random chick. They immediately pulled away from each other at my outburst. The unknown woman turned to look at me, a smug smirk on her face as she took Lauren's hand in hers. Lauren avoided eye contact with me, instead finding interest in her bed covers as a deep pink blush set on her cheeks.

"Hey Steph" she mumbled meekly.

"Steph! It's good to see you again" the unknown woman says to me in an annoying cheery tone. I furrow my brows at her trying to place her face or where I could know her from but came up with nothing.

"Who the fuck are-" I started to question but she cut me off.

"Lauren's girlfriend, Olivia" she says as she gets up and extends a hand to me. I completely ignore it. Did this bitch just say girlfriend? I think the fuck not. She leans closer to me and making sure that Lauren couldn't hear, she whispers, "Careful, wouldn't want her to have another seizure would we?"

I bite back my bitter response as she quickly makes her way back to Lauren's side. Lauren looked back and forth between the two of us as she tried to figure out what just took place. The bitch put her hand on Lauren's shoulder, drawing my best friend's attention to herself and away from me.

"Steph and I have only met a few times since my work takes me away a lot" she explained. The lying bitch, I've never met her before and she most definitely isn't Lauren's girlfriend. What the fuck was she playing at and where the hell is Demi? She was meant to be here.

"Olivia" I say, managing to plaster a fake smile on my face. "Can I have a word with you out in the hall?"

"Actually, if you don't mind, Lauren and I have a lot of catching up to do. I don't mean to sound rude but do you mind giving us some time alone?"

I could punch this bitch in the face. Who the fuck does she think she is? There's no way that I'm leaving Lauren alone with her any longer. I look over at Lauren who has started twisting her fingers, an old nervous habit of hers. Good, that means she's uncomfortable around this poser as well.

"Actually, if you don't mind" I mimic in the same annoying tone the bitch used with me, "I think Lauren would like me to stay." I walk over and plant myself on the nearby couch while glaring at the imposter.

"Baby..." I roll my eyes and fight the urge to gag as she continues talking to Lauren. "Don't you think its best that we spent some time alone trying to jog your memory?" Lauren's gaze shifts nervously between me and the bitch. She's clearly trying to decide what to do.

"Obviously Lau-" I'm once again cut off but this time by Lauren.

"Steph, I think Olivia's right. We could use some time alone." My mouth drops open as I take in her words. She's choosing this stranger over me? Well technically I'm also a stranger to her since she doesn't remember anything. I'm brought out of my stupor by Lauren speaking, "You understand, right Steph. She is my girlfriend after all."

The bitch turns to me with the same smug smirk as before as she raises an eyebrow at me, almost challenging me to protest. I clench my fists at my side as I let out a frustrated grunt.

"Fine but I'll be right outside." I turn on my heel and not so gracefully stomp out of the room.

I march over to the nurses' station and start berating the first person I see. I know it's wrong but they have to have some sort of system to keep random people from just walking in off the street. The nurse's eyes bulge as I throw out question after question. Who is that bitch? How did she get in? Why did no one stop her from spewing lies into my friends head? I needed answers and I was in no mood to wait for them.
