"Hello? Earth to Will! Hello?" Jo, my best friend said loudly, waving her hand in my face. "What? Sorry, Jo." I said to my best friend. She was looking at me like I was mad.
"You ok?" She asked. Ever since Mr. Carson set us that family assignment, you've been spacing out and crying. What's up?" She said.
"I'll tell you at your house tonight. We are still on for the sleepover, right?" I asked hopefully. She nodded. "Yep! I have everything ready! I even deep cleaned my room! We're gonna have so much fun!" She said.
Time skip to that evening. It's Friday.
"Jo? Do you ever feel forgotten?" I asked. She look at me with anger. "Is that why you're so upset lately?" She asked, anger in her voice. I nodded. She then looked at my back pack. It was full to the top, and I couldn't get it to zip easily.
"Whole two weeks full of stuff!" I told her.
