II. The Brothers

Meliodas' P.O.V.

"Now, I need to check on my little brother. See you next break!" I said waving at her. "Maybe you can introduce me to your friends next time?" I asked. She replied "Yes, I will. You will love them!!". I left the class and went to find my brother.

Elizabeth's P.O.V.

I can't wait to introduce them for real. I mean, if he stayed for one more minute, I could introduce them anyway... Huh? I wonder how his younger brother is like.

Anyways, let me just go find the sins.

Meliodas' P.O.V.

Zel, how did you manage to disappear aldready?! I checked almost everywhere... After a while, I somehow found him in a corner.

"Zel! Where have you been? I needed to tell you something important but you were nowhere to be found!"

"Sorry, meli. I've been trying to find you too but I got lost." He replied with his had down.

"Ok, ok... But please don't make me wander around like this again. Alright?"

"Yes I promise, so did you find her?" he asked.

"Yes, I think. She looked like her but there are slight differences. But she didn't recognize me. I don't know why she didn't, so I'm not really sure. But I will put my plan into action!"

"Meli, what is your plan anyway? Won't you just finish the job in a moment with father's plan?" he asked, he had a curious face.

I answered calm and furiously "Zel, do you think father's plan will work? It might, but will it worth it? I mean, I want her to feel like I did once. And let me tell you what my plan actually is...". I got closer to his ear and whispered my plan. His eyes widened but I think he liked it.

"But, Zel. You need to act like I do, ok?" I said with a serious face.

"Ok, I think. But I hope father will understand what we're doing."

"Hey, zel. Don't bother explaining him, he is probably watching us right at the moment. Whatever, the lesson is about to start. Where is your class? So, I can introduce you to her while she introduces me to her friends at the breaktime." I said with a cold face while talking about father.

He nodded and quickly pointed a door. Then, I nodded back and entered my classroom while he entered his.

I sat back to my seat. She was there naturally, because we were sitting next to each other anyway. I smiled at her and turned my head to the board.

Elizabeth's P.O.V.

I smiled back but I think he didn't see it because he turned his head immediately. I hope he doesn't hate me or something. I just don't want to lose him particularly. But I don't really know the reason. Anyways, the lesson started as the teacher came in. It was kind of boring but I listened it well because I don't want my grades to be low. That'd be horrifying for me. The reason is that I can't let my father down, I love him too much. Even if he's not my biological father... I just love him.

And somehow the lesson ended. I didn't even make a bit of eye contact with him. I think I was just- scared?! But why would I? He's just a new friend of mine, that's it. Right?! Of course, I don't feel anything about him romantically, right?? Ahh, this topic is exhausting. I'll just forget about it.

I pushed these thoughts and doubts away to the forgotten corners of my mind. And I called him, "Meliodas!"

Meliodas's P.O.V.

"Huh? Hi, Elizabeth! Are you ready to introduce your friends?" I asked. She nodded happily and wanted me to follow her.

"Oh, wait. Will you excuse me for a minute? I'll take my brother too." I stopped her for an instant. I ran to the classroom of zel and made hime come with me somehow. But of course I warned him, "You'll meet with the goddess. So, act like you're supposed to. Ok?". He nodded uncomfortably.

"Elizabeth, hi again. This is my younger brother Zeldris. And zel, this is Elizabeth, a new friend of mine.". I introduced them quickly. Now it was her turn.

Elizabeth smiled and said "Nice to meet you Zeldris."

Zeldris' P.O.V.

"Nice to meet you too. I heard that you were going to introduce your friends." I said.

So, this is the goddess Elizabeth... Meliodas was right, something is off with her. But I can't really tell what it is. As long as she doesn't suspect anything, it's fine.

Elizabeth's P.O.V.

"Oh, yes." I pulled the sins this way and introduced them. "These are my friends. They're the so called Deadly Sins. Anyways, the girl over there with the brown hair is Diane. She might be looking small but she's actually a giant in her true form.".

Diane waved and smiled at the brothers "It's nice to meet you, Meliodas and... What was your name again?". I said embarrassed "His name is Zeldris!". She continued "...and Zeldris!". She was scratching the back of her head with a guilt and a smile on her face.

"The long boy with the gray hair right over there is Ban, aka Ban the Undead. As you can tell by the name, he's immortal. However, he's a human."

"Yoo, nice to meet ya!". Meliodas and Zeldris nodded kindly. (A/N): Imagine it's giving more Ban vibes.

"That short guy who's hugging a fluffy pillow is Harlequin, but everyone calls him King. Plus, he's the Fairy King."

"Hi, Meliodas and Zeldris. Nice to meet you!" King nodded.

"That pink haired boy over there is Gowther. He's silent and very powerful. Unfortunately, I don't know his race."

"Hii!! Nice to meet you brothers!!" Gowther waved.

"That girl with the black hair right there is Merlin. She's a magician, a really powerful one."

"Nice to meet you, Meliodas and Zeldris. I hope we get along with each other." Merlin bowed elegantly.

"Last one... That little guy over there is Escanor. He might be looking like a weakling, sorry for that, but he's the strongest of us. He turns into a big scary man at high noon."

"H-hi! Nice t-to meet y-you!" said Escanor.

Meliodas' P.O.V.

"Nice to meet y'all, everybody! I hope we'll be good friends in the future."
