"Uh, miss, can I take your order?" the waiter asked.
"Uh, just a few more minutes. My date should be arriving soon." Y/N responded. She had been waiting for her boyfriend, Jason, to arrive. They had been dating for a year now, and it was their one year anniversary.
She arrived at the restaurant 2 hours ago, waiting and waiting for Jason to come. He wasn't picking up any calls or texts, and Y/N was getting pissed.
"Uh ma'am, if you aren't ready to order, I'm going to have to kindly ask you to-" The waiter started until he was interrupted by a stranger.
"I am soooo sorry I'm so late Sunshine," the strange man started. "Traffic was murder."
"I will be back in 5 minutes for your orders." The waiter said and left.
"Who are you and what are you doing!?" Y/N whisper-shouted at the man across from her.
"Ok, so my name is Leo Valdez, and I was pretending to be your boyfriend. Now before you ask why, it's because I felt bad." The man, Leo, responded. "Just go with the flow."
"Have you chosen your orders yet?"
"Uh yes," Y/N responded, giving a questioning look to Leo. He nodded his head in encouragement. "Um, one large cheese pizza with jalapenos please."
"I'll have the same thing." Leo responded. As soon as the waiter left, Leo just had to... compliment her food choice.
"Dam, a whole large pizza for you? I'm impressed babe."
"I am not your "babe" and yes, a whole large pizza for me. Plus, you ordered the same thing anyway." Y/N retorted back.
"Yes, of course." Leo said flatly. He seemed... disappointed.
After a few minutes of silence, Y/N got a text from Jason. And he broke up with her.
It really came to no surprise to her since he had been ignoring her more often nowadays, but it still hurt like hell.
"What's with the sad face?" Leo asked with the same flat tone as before.
"He broke up with me, and to be honest, I think I'll be going now." Y/N said, already standing up, already ready to leave.
"May I join you?"
"Why of course."
And to that, they both got up and left.
"Miss! Mister! Your pizza!"
