Just as the Quartermaster aimed the next shot at Jack. Everyone watched in shock as the bullet wound in Maggie's head healed and repaired itself in a matter of seconds. Then everyone jumped back as Maggie sat up and began to breathe again, she looked dazed as if she had just awoken from a dream. Then her eyebrows furrowed together and she inhaled sharply until...
"Achoo!" She squeaked, covering her nose. She sniffled and before picking something off her hand.
"Here's your bullet back!" She threw it to the Quartermaster. "Mind the boogers!"
"She's... she's not dead!" Jack's face broke into a grin as her embraced her.
"Daddy, what part of immortality did you not get?" Maggie reminded him, showing her mother's black pearl ring on her finger.
Blackbeard roared. "Forget it! Just kill Sparrow then!" He shouted "I've had enough of this nonsense!"
But just then, Maggie saw the chalices roll towards her side and noticed something inscribed into the rims of each of them.
"Wait! Wait!" She cried out. She picked up each chalice with her hands and turned them over reading the words aloud. "Aqua... De Vida."
Suddenly there was the immediate sound of rushing water. Everyone looked around, along the cave walls, trickles of water began to rise above their heads. Soon more and more water began to appear and move upwards to the ceiling of the cave, to create a small pool above their heads.
Suddenly a colorful bird flew into the cave and shot up upwards into the pool and disappeared.
"Master Scrum!" Captain Jack called "Do you mind...?"
"Squire?" Scrum replied as he bent down.
Maggie grabbed onto Jack's back as he climbed up onto Scrum's back and using his sword, reached up to the pool above. Suddenly the sword was yanked from his hand and sucked up into the pool. Soon the pool sucked both Jack and Maggie up with it immediately after.
Maggie jumped off her Father's back as they came up on the other side of the pool. Blackbeard, Angelica and the rest of the crew came up behind them as well.
Maggie stared around in wonder, in the center of the cave was a mounted formation of stones with a hole in the center and a small, delicate stream of water came pouring from a crack in the center. Around the stone are huge carved structures, artifacts from a civilization long past. Scattered about are skeletal remains of victims from past expedition's. There was moss, vegataion and vines everywhere. The whole place had a mystical, yet natural feeling to it.
"So beautiful..." Angelica whispered what Maggie was thinking.
The whole crew was in awe by the beauty of their goal location. It was even more majestic than they imagined. Captain Jack walked towards the small stream of water pouring out of the Fountain. With this water he could become immortal and stay by his daughter's side forever. Entranced by it, he slowly reached out to touch the water...
"Sparrow!" Blackbeard snapped "I'll be the first to taste those waters!"
As Blackbeard was chewing Jack out, Diego noticed an unfamiliar figure moving through the mist towards them.
"Abuelo!" He alerted Blackbeard. (Translation: Grandpa!)
Blackbeard didn't even have to turn his head. "The one-legged man" He guessed.
Jack and Maggie turn to see that indeed, Barbossa and his crew of Navy Dorks had finally caught up.
Angelica glared at Jack. "You brought him here!" She accused him.
