The moonlight... so big and bright. So full of life yet unaware of the people living in this world. The moonlight always brought comfort in this darkness that has always circulated around me. The coldness that came with the dark, as well as the fear. But when you look at the moonlight. It almost looks like it's chasing the darkness away. Lighting up the path as you're walking in the dark abyss. And that light is what removes the fears from the mind. Why I was brought into this darken world— that I'll never know. And a part of me wonders if I ever will. Maybe one day I'll find the answer... the purpose I was suppose to fulfill here on this world. Until then I will continue to be me. Josie Olivia Saltzman a simple witch.. from a simple village... living a not so simple life.

"Alright class, settle down now" Mr. Orion began to shush down the class waving his hands down. The students weren't paying attention. They never did. It wasn't until he cast a spell binding the students who were being a nuisance and getting them to sit down and be quiet. Luckily for me I never had to feel the pain that came with binding. From what other had said it feel like your body getting squeezed so tight you feel you guts trying to find It's way out. All I could do was take a deep breath, looking out the window. It looked so beautiful as winter was just around the corner. Leaves falling down one by one. Beautiful.
The teacher began his routinely roll call, counting the students that were in class. Normally he didn't care. If you show up you show up. If you didn't. Well that was their problem. "Okay, I know you're all excited to graduate. That's why it is a great honor knowing that my students will bring honor and glory to this school." Mr. Orion gave a smug look. Brushing his hands over his light brown fohawk faded haircut. His dark brown eyes scanning the room. A few girls becoming giddy as he smiled. It was no lie he was the most good looking teacher. But he was more of an egotistical jerk if you'd ask me.
"This year will be the biggest event ever casted. Because of one student. Hope Mikaelson" He spat the name out like if it was venom. "The daughter of the great Hayley and Klaus Mikaelson. The Champions of the Holy Games." Again he spat, trying to get rid of the foulness that those names tasted in his mouth. He waved his arm and our books open to a page on the famous Mikaelsons.
Niklaus "klaus" Mikaelson won the Holy Games by killing ever single student that got in his way. Sure some survived graduating. But the death toll on that years game alone was more then anyone had recorded in history. He is the most powerful; known as the King of the French Quarter of New Orleans. He is the original Hybrid: half- original Vampire and half-werewolf. As I look closely at his biography I noticed his feature. He wasn't bad looking. If I was into guys I wouldn't mind being swoon by him. Beautiful green eyes and short brown hair. And a smirk that can make anyone fall at his feet.
I shook my head flipping through the next page. I found myself amazed, at the beautiful woman that filled the entire page. Hayley Marshall born Andrea Labonair was the Champion of the Holy Games the following year. She was the Queen of the Crescent Wolf Clan. She signal handily killed the Vampires from the Neoma Army gaining her the title of champion. Wow what I'd give to meet her. I whispered to myself as I caressed the edge of the page still drooling over this beast of a woman.
"Let's go over the Holy Games on last time since this will be our final time together" The teacher spoke loudly, his voice echoing through the room, shaking the windows a tad bit. "The Game is simple. There are many challenges in the game. Many tasks one must do. But you must remember there are no rules. Death is inevitable to the weak." Mr. Orion paused. His eyes shifted to me. All I could do is roll my eyes resting my chin on my fist.
