Walking through the bright and quiet outside corridors I felt nothing but peace. The sun was slowly sinking, birds playfully flying, singing a relaxing song. The winter air filled my body giving me goosebumps. I brought my hands to my mouth, huffing warm air into them. It helped a little but the cold breeze would just freeze them all over again. I was contemplating on using a spell to warming them up but last time I did a fire spell I burnt down half a forest and gave myself deep 3rd degree burn. I pulled my hands away remembering the white wolf cleaning and healed them.

Earlier this morning the entire senior class in school had to gather in the auditorium as our home room, teachers took roll. When everyone was accounted for, Head Master Vardemus created a portal that would lead us to the location of the tournament. Every year it was somewhere different. A different world created for the games alone. That way no one had the upper hand, no one had a cheat sheet, and no one knew what to expect, except to expect the unexpected. I gave myself a headache just thinking by about that.

This year it was in a forest terrain. Somehow feeling nature all around me filled me with nostalgia. I was in my sanctuary, the terrain where i felt most comfortable with. It took the entire day to walk to the castle where the competitors would stay until they are released. In reality this place was a glorified cage where everyone watched us. Where they treated everyone regardless of the hierarchy like royalty. Not because they cared for us, but because if we're going to die might as well have one last night to live as a king.

"Well, well, well look who we have here" A tall girl with dark hair walked towards me. I turned around as the footsteps began to grow louder in my ears. It was Alyssa and a few other classmates. My body automatically tensed up.

"To think that someone so pathetic existed." Alyssa laughed causing her Entourage to join in as well. "I'm sure your friend, the great genius demon over there, mocks you, too" i felt my once cold body begin to heat up.

Maybe, so. Raiden is so amazing, known as a prodigy in the supernatural world. I'm just" I began to spiral into the dark abyss once more. I know I said I never let it get to me. But there were always doubts.

"You can't do a thing in this world. Just give up on everything. You were born a loser!" Alyssa reached out to grab me punching me in the face. Before I had time to react Alyssa and her groupies began casting spells at me. I tried to dodge them but the fire ball burned my arm and a wind spell send me flying across the corridor causing me to slam into the wall. The impact caused me to lose my breath, feeling as if though I was suffocating. My hands were shaking, body ached all around.

I slowly looked up watching as they got closer. Alyssa raised her hand to cast another spell but was pushed back. Hope had appeared from thin air punching and fighting the group of bullies. Once they realize the tribrid they quickly turned tail running as fast as they could with their now broken bones.

She turned towards me just looking down at me. I was still unable to move trying to regain any strength I could. Pathetic. I looked pathetic in Hopes eyes.

"I can't believe you couldn't return a single punch after what they said about you." Hope scoffed. I tried to get up once more but my arms would give out as soon as I put any weight on it. I felt arms around me lifting me up effortlessly. I opened my eyes to be met with that ocean blue I liked so much.

Hope carried me to the short wall setting me down of the ledge. She to touch ever part of my body looking at the injuries that were placed on me. "Thank you" was all I could say.

"You know we're suppose to be in the dining hall right now. Everyone is getting treated like kings in there yet you're out here" Hope looked up at me as she cleaned the burn Mark on my arm.
